I had a really tough week, especially Thursday and Friday at work, and I ended up driving home early Friday morning with tears in my sunglasses. I spent most of the afternoon sleeping, trying to gain the strength to get through a busy Saturday, but ended up having a really bad day. Very small conflicts are bothering me more than they need to be, but I know that’s not how my brain functions normally. So internally I feel that something is wrong and I am trying to figure out how to deal with this. Along with my body.
It seems strange to go from that last sentence to one about sheet masks, but part of what I’m trying to do is take my mental health seriously and first improve my condition and then maintain it. It’s about working hard to do it. I told some close friends about what was going on in my life and many told me that they really enjoyed my sheet masks. Indeed, among the many obsessions I’ve had over the years, sheet masks, especially those that are printed, like this Kumamon sheet mask, have consistently been a source of salvation.
This mask is printed, so obviously that’s the biggest draw, but it also contains lavender oil, allantoin, thermal spring water, hyaluronic acid, and the sometimes controversial ingredients horse oil and horse placenta extract, which are both It may also be used in Asian skin care to promote skin. Increases barrier strength and minimizes wrinkles. The horse stuff still feels a little weird, so I’m not actively looking for these ingredients.
As expected, the fit of this mask is pretty terrible, and I don’t think it looks as cute as the mascot Kumamon we all know and love. Still, it’s all about the entertainment factor and this sheet mask certainly delivered when it comes to that department.
Mask overview:
price: It’s a gift so I don’t really understand.
function: Moisturize, strengthen the skin barrier and relax with aromatherapy
scent: lemon
Essence type: transparent, watery
interval: half an hour
thickness: It’s a printed mask, so it’s no surprise that it’s thick.
Mask fit: Oh, it was pretty bad, but it was very characteristic of a printed mask, especially since the design covers so much area.
Stickiness: Moderate, but not too unpleasant
Hydration: It was very nice, but I wanted a lavender scent, so I felt like splurging a bit, so I applied a little Kiehl’s overnight mask.
Other notes: Not applicable
Final verdict: As an everyday mask? No, actually, I tried this once and I don’t think I liked the experience enough to want to wear it again. So that was my Kumamon selfie to share with myself and everyone!
I’m pretty sure this mask has to come from Japan because I don’t know where my husband’s friend got it from. I’d like to say it’s somewhere in a tourist area, but I don’t really know.
