About the award

Categories to consider
Five categories will be considered for this year’s Sustainable Beauty Awards. The first category is new sustainable products, which are new cosmetic or personal care products with significant sustainability credentials. The second category is sustainable packaging.A new packaging format with a lower environmental impact in terms of materials, design and application” details can be found in the organization’s promotional materials.
The third category considers “sustainable raw materials.”A cosmetic ingredient called [are considered to] bring about significant changes in terms of environmental and/or social impact;”, the fourth category recognizes sustainable pioneers, industry operators who are, in some sense, leaders in their field in their commitment to sustainability.
The fifth and final category is Sustainability Leadership, which recognizes organizations that have demonstrated exemplary commitment to sustainability.
Award entry process
Cosmetic and personal care product industry professionals, companies and organizations interested in submitting entries for consideration by the Sustainable Beauty Awards judging panel are now beginning the process.Cosmetic and personal care brands, ingredient companies, packaging suppliers, retailers and distributors, NGOs, agents and affiliates.” We encourage you to apply, Sahota said.
