Winner winner chicken dinner!

I love this kind of thing

My main criteria for dry shampoo is how it feels on my roots on the second day after a few sprays. If the dough is stiff and covered with a thick layer of hard flour, forget about it. I prefer lightweight sprays that mostly disappear into my hair but still absorb the gunk.

For years my favorite is oribe dry shampoo, I think it’s great to do this, but you know. Sometimes it’s helpful to have a dry shampoo option. Especially when it’s not $52 (!) a bottle.

input Amika’s $28 Perk Up Dry Shampoo. Just give the oily roots a few shots and they’ll be fine!

i really love this. You only need to use a small amount and the spray is so fine that you don’t have to massage excess product into your salt and pepper hair.

It absorbs excess oil well, so it doesn’t feel heavy or sticky.

Plus, I love the subtle floral scent. Everything can trigger a migraine these days, and it’s not subtle.

If you’re looking for a new dry shampoo to add to your rotation, give this one a try.

please listen to this as soon as possible

I’ve been really into Mel Robbins’ podcasts lately because her shows are so good. Here’s what I found really enlightening about menopause. I don’t know much about it, but I would like to learn as much as possible for later in life. This episode explains what it is and how it is often ignored by the medical community, and provides some good tips on how to keep your body strong and healthy as it changes as you age. It was really helpful.

Please give it a listen if you have a chance.
