Armani has released several new products this spring, including a new one. Luminous Silk Creamy Bronzing Powder ($58) and prisma glass high shine lip gloss ($38). These are a beautiful addition to the Armani Beauty lineup and I have swatches and a review for them today.
Luminous Silk Creamy Bronzing Powder
of Luminous Silk Creamy Bronzing Powder is currently available in four shades and comes in a large mirrored compact. I love the large size of these and the formula is really great. It is described as “super creamy” but to me it feels like a silky soft smooth powder with a creamy feel.
These have a bright shine with noticeable shimmer particles. However, it doesn’t look glittery on the skin, but it does have a subtle glow on the skin.
I chose shades 100 and 110 because I wear them. luminous silk foundation 6.5 (recommended for medium to tan skin 5.5 to 8). Shade 100 is my favorite so far. 110 is a little too dark and looks a little reddish. Overall, I really like the texture, undertone, finish, and the way they blend together. I give these a solid A+.

Armani also said, prisma glass high shine lip gloss. Available in 6 tints and clear options. These are smooth, non-sticky types of glosses with very high shine and transparent pigments. It can be layered to show the color without being too thick, but the overall pigment level is quite sheer. You also have to do some pretty serious pumping with the wand to get the product onto the applicator. I wish the color was a little better, but I really liked the color and finish.
It gives a subtle plumpness to my lips. There is no complete tingling or numbness, but your lips will feel plump after a few minutes.
Overall it’s very pretty and I get a lot of compliments on this gloss, but it’s a bit fiddly to maintain when applying, it costs quite a bit for the amount you get, and the applicator doesn’t pick up enough product on its own.
There is a soft pearly quality to some of the shades I have tried, but on the lips it is not really noticeable.

- 05 Berry Beam is a cool rose pink (close to lilac)
- 04 Cherry glaze is a bright but very sheer cherry red
Overall, some very nice fresh makeup was released. I think it’s super easy to use and cute for a sophisticated yet natural look.For smooth gloss I’m still thinking Pat McGrath LUST Gloss and dior addict lip maximizer Even though the formula + pigment is better, I still really enjoy Armani’s new glosses.
