A little background on my hair. I have thick, curly hair that tends to frizz due to humidity. I do color treatments every 2-3 months while doing root touch-ups. I almost always blow dry my hair because air drying makes it frizzy. My hair is thick, but I started losing a lot of it about two years ago. Thankfully the hair loss has stopped and breast hair is starting to grow back (natural growth).
To make the list easier to sort, I’ve separated my recommendations for things I’ve tried and liked into categories.There are many wonderful things hair care set available and a wide range of items available mini size It’s great to try.
hair tools
I love you I really love you dyson supersonic and air wrap. I’ve been using his Supersonic since 2017 and it still works perfectly like the day I bought it. I’ve been using Airwrap since 2020 and love it. I think they are a huge game changer in how I style and dry my hair. Yes, it’s a big hit on the wallet, but both were worth the splurge. They recently added Ceramic Pink and Rose Gold colors (limited edition) so I decided to upgrade both tools with this new color.
of Dyson Airwrap It has been updated since I bought it and the improvements make it noticeably better. The attachment has been slightly redesigned to make it more multifunctional.

If you don’t want to curl your hair, we recommend leaving it as is. supersonic speed. The powerful air flow from the nozzle dries faster and more efficiently. (If you don’t use the case) Easier to carry.
That being said, I think Airwrap is great. It allows for a variety of styling and drying options. Because you use it on wet hair, use heat and cooling options, and have to add hairspray, it takes longer to curl than a regular curling iron. For me, the wrapping function makes it easier to use than a regular hair iron. Using an airwrap gives you more relaxed, beachy waves, which is what I prefer, but using a hot curling iron will definitely make your curls last longer.
of GHD Platinum + Styler The perfect tool for straightening and curling. Technically it’s a flat iron, but I use it to curl my hair. The temperature is set at a constant 375 degrees and has a sensor to maintain constant heat. This will make your hair look sleek and silky. I always bring it with me on every trip. I’ve done several reviews and demos using this tool. 100% recommended.smooth and silky hair active here.easy waves here.
shampoo + conditioner
Lately I’ve been hooked on Oribe and Kérastase. These are formulas I return to again and again.
Oribe Gold Lust Repair and Restore Shampoo and conditioner It’s the best formula I use most often and repurchase. I splurged on liter bottles and refills. It’s quite expensive, but the larger size is a better deal.If you are new to this formula, I recommend you try this #Mini-trio obsessed with Oribe or this gold last ritual set (Great value price).
kerastase premier line It’s new and incredible! It’s exactly what I needed to remove and clean the dirt built up in my hair from Florida’s hard water. Even with a water softener, the water here is still very harsh on my hair. Most detox or purifying shampoos strip my hair or irritate my scalp most of the time. This premier line is the formula I was looking for to define and restore my natural glow.
I think you need a complete system to get the most benefits. I tried using just shampoo and conditioner, but… pre-shampoo treatment It made a big difference. My hair has never felt so healthy and clean since I left California. If you don’t want to splurge on a whole line, pre-shampoo treatment, shampoo repair and conditioner.of serum Incredibly good at smoothing and protecting from heat and moisture. Since this is a restorative line, I don’t think I’ll use it every day, but it will probably become a once a week routine.
I’ve tried almost every Kerastase formula on virgin hair, hair with bleached highlights, and now hair with touch-ups at the roots. There are formulas for every hair type.
- Nutrition Supply It’s a great line for dry hair and I really like it.
- resistance Ideal for strengthening hair weakened by heat styling
- discipline Anti-frizz smoothing line
- When you bleach your hair and add highlights blonde absol It was my go-to line.
I also still think Olaxplex and Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair formulas are great. I finished several bottles of Olaplex. I haven’t used Briogeo in a while, but I’d like to buy one soon.

Virtue Hydrating Healing Oil Ideal for smoothing and repairing
Olaplex No 7 Bonding Oil Perfect for split ends
Shu Uemura Essence Absolu This is also a great hair oil for adding shine, but it can feel a bit heavy if you use too much.
Best heat protectant/blow dry primer
I mainly use Primer Heat Protect on blow-dried damp hair. There are other heat protectants designed to be used on dry hair for heat appliances such as irons.
Oribe makes a lot of heat shielding agents.i really like them royal blowout heat styling spray or imperial blowout styling cream.
Kérastase produces large quantities of primers in all formulas.I really loved you resistance, Chronologist or Nutrition Supply number one.
olaplex blow dry mist Another great option to add volume.
best dry shampoo
Here are three formulas that I really like that don’t add gray to my dark hair. Olaplex No 4D Clean Volume Dry Shampoo (probably my favorite so far), Living Proof Perfect Hair Day PhD and Advanced doctoral course (Both are great) And if you want to splurge, Oribe Gold Last Dry Shampoo That’s excellent.
