Skincare and body favorites

Winter skincare favorites La Mer, Sunday Riley, Prequel, Bobbi Brown

This year has been a very foundational year for me in skin care. I pretty much stick to tried and true classics. This year I’m thinking of being a little more adventurous.

Favorite moisturizer: La Mer Soft Moisturizing Cream

Go-to moisturizer #2: Drunk Elephant Protiny Polypeptide Cream

Best spot treatment: Bliss Clear Genius Acne Gel (Andrew loves this too; it works well as an acidic acne spot treatment, but doesn’t leave any red marks on the skin.)

Best smoothing/resurfacing: Sunday Riley Good Gene

Best cleanser splurges: CHANEL SUBLIMAGE LOUIRE CLEANSING OIL (I have repurchased this many times because it feels very soft and smooth)

Best things to do to keep your skin clean/smooth: Eve Lom muslin fabric (You can use any muslin cloth.) However, this will definitely remove dirt, oil, and cleanser residue.

Best body products: chanel louille This is the best body oil I’ve tried (I love vanilla). Prequel Barrier Therapy Skin Protectant Body Cream It saved my dry skin from recurring.

Best New Try: Botox! I did it for the first time in May and really liked the results. We went to @marissathepa in Boca Raton (she is amazing!) First time she got 40 units which lasted her 3.5 months. We were thinking of doing it again, but we hadn’t planned ahead and when we went to Miami in December, it was fully booked. I’m debating whether to look for someone locally or wait until I get back (I think I’ll wait).

I love hair care

GHD Platinum + Styler

Best hair tools: GHD Platinum + Styler Perfect for creating silky smooth hair and soft waves. I like this. This works because it turns off automatically, is set to a single temperature, the plate has a sensor to maintain a constant temperature, and the edges of the plate do not touch the skin. Because you won’t get burned.actually take a look here and here.

Most commonly used hair care: Oribe Gold Last Shampoo + conditioner – I used these so much that I ended up buying a liter pump bottle and have since re-purchased a liter refill bottle.Definitely a big hit on the wallet, but the formula is my favorite

Essential hair styling products: R&Co Dart Stick This year my hair is regrowing so for my baby flyaways I always order from Neiman’s or Amazonit’s big enough to keep in your wallet.

others

Chanel Code Couleur

Best launches of the year: I really enjoyed the Chanel Code Couleur mirror, nail file, and brush set. I wish I had bought all the colors. I would like to do something like this again. It sold out almost instantly, so check out the review here.

Most Worn Polish: Olive and June quick dry manicure in Sandy (This is the best sheer baby pink that dries quickly and has gotten the most compliments this year). Many shades are available the goal But this seems to be only available at olive and june.

Thank you again for following us. I’m looking forward to the new year! I know New Year’s Day is really just another day, but I feel like it’s the perfect time to reset and make a fresh start. The past 12 months have been difficult and incredibly difficult for me personally. Therefore, I cannot express in words how much your kindness meant to me.

I’d love to hear about your favorites!
