This is a pretty big list, but I’ve broken it down by face, eyes, and lips categories. I’m going to show you the best makeup I’ve tried in each category.
base makeup favorites
best primer – bobbi brown vitamin enriched face base It’s a great multi-purpose moisturizer and primer in one product, and it blends so well under makeup that I keep buying it again and again.
best glowy primer – connect between dior forever glow star filter and Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. The Dior Forever Glow Star Filter has a thin texture, so I think it’s easy to apply it all over your face when layered with foundation and concealer.Charlotte Tilbury is still a classic, so I think I’ll continue to use it.
best tinted moisturizer – Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer – I love this sheer tinted moisturizer with SPF 20 because it’s not too dewy. It has sheer to medium coverage without being too sheer. I’m wearing 24N.
Best tint with SPF – Super goop! Protech (tint) SPF 50 – This is another great skin tint with medium coverage and high SPF. It has great coverage and great staying power. I have 24N and 26W.
best natural looking tint – Fenty Ease Drop Blur Skin Tint – This is a great hassle-free skin tint without SPF. The coverage is similar to Rare Beauty, but the coverage is slightly higher. It looks very natural and sets beautifully. I’m wearing shade 9 or 10.
Best Medium Coverage Glowy Foundation – armani luminous silk foundation – Best medium coverage glow foundation I’ve used. I’m wearing shade 6.5.
best cc cream – It Cosmetics CC+ Nude Glow – The best CC+ cream with medium coverage and natural shine. I’m wearing a medium tan.
best foundation stick – Westman Atelier Vital Skin Foundation Stick – My go-to foundation stick is perfect for everyday use and super travel-friendly. Depending on how tan I am, I wear shades V, VI, or VII.
Favorite classic finish foundation – Pat McGrath Sublime Perfection Foundation – This is another foolproof classic formula. You’ll love it as an everyday staple. My match is light medium 14.
perfect for travel – Patrick Ta Major Skin Cream Foundation Powder Duo I use the shade Light Medium 2 because both the foundation and powder have a natural finish.
best concealer
best brightening concealer – YSL Touche Eclat Definitely the best of the best. I’m using shade 3.
best medium coverage – NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (Macadamia or Ginger) is a cult classic and remains the best creamy under eye formula for me. Also, I still really love the Givenchy Prism Libre Skin Care Concealer. It has a creamy finish and a little more coverage.
best full coverage – natasha denona high glam concealer It’s the best of the best concealers. Creamy and opaque, easy to blend, long-lasting and wrinkle-free. Wear N6, 7, 8, or 9 depending on how much you want it to match or brighten. Armani Luminous Silk Concealer is also a great option. I wear a 6.5 or 7.
best powder and setting products
best setting spray – Two-way cooperation between Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray.
best pressed powder – charlotte tilbury airbrush perfect finish moderate or NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Powder
Best under eye setting powder – Pat McGrath’s Skin Fetish Sublime Perfect Blurring Under Eye Powder
best loose setting powder – Givenchy Prism Libre or laura mercier loose setting powder (Also, Talc free blurred version)
Best contour/bronzer
I’m currently on the hunt for a new bronzer as I’m looking for the one I’ve been using for years. I’m ready to start something new, but nothing has caught my eye yet. We look forward to seeing new formulas and shades this summer.
Best cream bronzer/contour – Rare Beauty Warm Wish Effortless Bronzer Stick Happy Sol or Always Sunny are great shades and the formula is easy to blend.There is also love Westman Atelier Face Trace Cream Contour Stick With truffles.
best powder bronzer – gucci sunkissed glow bronzer In shade 3, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer In the bright bronze light, dior forever natural powder bronzer (best matte formula), Patrick Ta Major Sculpt Duo she is bronzed

best cream cheek – Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks (Sheer Medium) and Charlotte Tilbury Matte Beauty Blush Wand (Medium Coverage)

new favorite – Dior Forever Glow Maximizer It’s really great, I like Peachy and Rosie the best (there’s a new shade Nude online, I tried it and it’s about the same as Gold, Nude just has more champagne undertones) )

The best eyeshadow palettes and formulas are from Natasha Denona, Too Faced, and Pat McGrath. Here are my favorites so far.
best eyeshadow formula – natasha denona i need nudes, grams or my dream palette I love the mini because of her bigger options mini starlet or mini viva.
best everyday palette – Too Faced Born This Way Natural Nude or sunset strip It’s in heavy rotation and I’ve been using it for years!I really love new things Mini Born This Way Palette Too.
The best mix of matte and shimmer – Pat McGrath It’s quite extravagant and some of her glitters are really gaudy, but I love them.
best all matte palette – Makeup by Mario Master Mats This is the best all matte eyeshadow palette for me.
Frequently used palette – patrick ta major dimension and Major dimension III That’s what I always use too.
mascara
best mascara: Tarte Tartlet tube and Tartette tube XL
lip liner
My go-to lip liner remains the same. I hope you find something new and exciting, but I still love the classic pieces that I’ve had for years.
lip gloss
My top 3 gloss formulas are: Pat McGrath LUST Gloss, fenty gloss bomb and dior addict lip maximizer.
i really love it too refay lip gloss (They have great neutrals), charlotte tilbury collagen lip bath (New shades added!) and new Huda fake filler gloss (sample here).
New product if you like jelly gloss armani prisma glasses The lip gloss has a great sheer formula. I sampled 3 colors here.
