I originally started with this Maylis There was a review that read, “Newbie to Shoppers Drug Mart,” and in typical Jain fashion, this month actually marks the one-year anniversary of Maelys’ launch in Canada. This body care brand, pronounced “Miley’s”, caught my attention with its sassy attitude towards its products! I think everyone has seen body shaping and slimming products, but what I thought was interesting about Maelys was the concept of “You just want to look cool!” And while some may find the motto “For the Love of Bod” sacrilegious, like I said, this brand caught my attention.
All Maelys products are free of parabens and phthalates, are SLS and PETA certified, and tested on a panel of “real women of all shapes and sizes and villain levels.” It is said that there are. From B-FOXY Inner Cy Firming Cream to B-PERKY Lift and Firm Boob Mask, there’s literally a product for every part of your body. Although they have some face products, they specialize in body sculpting products.

I was sent the B-FLEX Lift & Firm Arm Cream, B-FLAT Firming Berry Cream, and B-TIGHT Booty Mask to try, and I enjoyed these products more for their sensory aspects than for slimming or smoothing. I admit that I often do. and a flattening effect. To see real results, you need to diligently apply these products to your skin every day for at least two months. I’ve only recently started using these consistently, so I’ll have to update you all in 40 days, but for now, here are my initial thoughts on what I’ve been sent.
B-FLEX Lift & Firm Arm Cream*

This cream is for triceps or “bat wings” and is made with red algae and kangaroo paw flower extract (Anigozanthos flavidus extract), provides moisture and firmness, and pink pepper slim extract (Schinus Terebinthifolius seed extract) has been shown to have lipolytic activity, meaning it kills fat cells. Overall, after 2 months of use, the silhouette and shape of your arms should become more defined. All of these featured ingredients are at the top of the list, but interestingly, the list does not include caffeine, which is usually found in “slimming products.”

The color of this cream is fun and the scent is so sweet that it makes you feel like you’ve made a fizzing mocktail. All three of these products can cause a tingling or burning sensation immediately after application, especially if you apply the cream right after getting out of the shower. Personally, I like the feeling of getting warmer, but if you don’t realize it’s coming, it can be a little unsettling. The cream is quickly absorbed and moisturizes. You don’t need to apply another moisturizer on top unless you have extremely dry skin.
B-FLAT Firming Berry Cream*

The before and after photos of people who used this cream were pretty dramatic, especially for someone who had stretch marks after only 40 days of using it, so I’m curious to see if the results are there. I know you should never trust photos posted on a brand’s website, but it was still kind of crazy to see the photos, wasn’t it? This cream focuses on moisturizing with shea butter and cocoa butter, while tightening belly skin with pink pepper slimming extract and fading stretch marks with avocado extract (contains vitamin A, which promotes collagen production). Masu. On the Maelys website, this cream is recommended for postpartum mothers and those embarking on a weight loss journey. For me, women often have softness in their lower abdominal area, so this cream can help tighten it and shapewear doesn’t have to be such a struggle when you’re wearing a lot of pencil-style skirts and dresses. I like the idea of not having to work!
The scent of the berry cream is pleasant and fruity, it absorbs quickly and leaves a rather tingling sensation on the skin. I could hardly feel it in my arms, but I felt it more because my stomach was more sensitive!

This formula contains smoothing pink pepper slim extract, guarana seed extract (acts as a mild astringent and antioxidant), and hyaluronic acid to help with “plumping.” I noticed that this formula also contains coffee bean extract and caffeine. So some of the tightening we’re seeing could be due to these, and even if it is, it’s only temporary.
As for the scent of this mask, it was still sweet, but much more subdued than the previous two products. Also, my butt feels like it’s on fire every time I use it, but it’s tolerable and goes away within a few minutes after use. I feel like something is happening to my cheeks, so I’m looking forward to feeling it!

I like the ingredients used and the fact that the featured ingredients are in the top half of the ingredient list. I also like that there isn’t a lot of caffeine in the formula. I really liked the scent and texture of the product I was sent, so I imagine that the other products will have a similar scent and feel.
