Over the weekend I stopped by my local Chanel Beauty Boutique to restock on some of my favorite products, and as many of you have been asking to see more details on the products, I also received some products in PR which I wanted to share with you.
If there is a Chanel Beauty boutique in your area, we recommend you visit it. They stock many items that are hard to find in other retail stores. Beauty boutiques have: Les Hauts de Chanel, Les Exclusivesbody oils, and also have a very good selection EyewearLeather accessories and pouches are sometimes in stock, but they sell out quickly.
I love shopping at these boutiques because the staff is always so friendly and so knowledgeable about all of their product lines. Miami has a few beauty boutiques that I always love to visit, and they recently opened one in Tampa, near me.

skin care
I love the Chanel cleansing line. Luir Anti-Pollution Cleansing Oil ($55). No matter what others I try, I always come back to this one. The texture is silky smooth, it emulsifies really well in warm water, and doesn’t strip my skin after rinsing.
I also love their gel-to-oil cleansers. They’re similar to a cleansing oil or balm, but because they’re in gel form, they don’t smudge or run when you apply them. They turn into an oil when you massage them in, and they melt away makeup from your face. My favorites from the Le Blanc line keep going out of production, but they’re still in production. Sublimation It is called Rueil en Gel de Demaquillage A gel-to-oil cleanser for ultimate comfort and radianceThis is also amazing.
Makeup Restock – Rouge Coco Baume
I refilled my lip balm bottles. As you all know, I Rouge Cocobaum Formula ($45) – 2 new colors added Chilling Pink (Reviews and on the lips here) and My Rose (On the lips here). I think all the shades in this particular formula are beautiful.
Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation
I just restocked two of my favorite foundations in different colors: Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation ($65) BD41 and BD51. These have a gold undertone and suit me best, but the new BO Olive range is nice too. Formula-wise, this is my favorite Chanel foundation. It has medium coverage and is lightly moisturizing but not over the top. It has a wide color range with options for multiple undertones. I saw the shades B40, BD41, B50 (Chanel’s No 1 formula), BD51, and BO53 below.
If you have dry skin and want medium, natural coverage, Les Beiges Healthy Glow or Chanel No.1If you just want a super sheer color; Les Beiges Water Fresh Tint.
Ombre Essentials
Chanel is Ombre Essential Long-Wearing Eyeshadow ($40) Also, Multi-purpose top coat ($40). I’m usually more of a fan of palettes than single colors, but I tried these in store and was really blown away by the colors and textures. The shimmers are velvety smooth, almost creamy to the touch, and the colors are amazing. The mattes are super smooth, but some have just a hint of shimmer in them for extra depth.
I Top Coat Blanc Pearl It has a smooth milky shine. It’s a pink opalescent color with a soft, almost creamy feel. It makes other eyeshadows look more 3D.
My PR package arrived yesterday and inside it were some of the swatches that I’ve tried below, and luckily for me, they were actually the colors I had my eye on during the swatch session I tried in-store. Rose Charnel A matte, soft and warm coral rose. Brun Fauve It is a warm matte brown. Quartz Fume It’s a shimmery bronze that’s almost khaki taupe. I also tried the matte version with a top coat applied.
I’ve had a lot of people ask me about brushes and tools, so I’ve briefly introduced my favorite Chanel eyeshadow brushes above. The first fluffy brush I introduced above seems to be discontinued, but the second round brush is Flat Eyeshadow Brush 202On the right Telescopic Dual End Brush 200 (Caps are attached on both ends) Round Brush 204 And that Eye Contouring Brush No.203.
Fragrance Repurchase + New Addition
of Les Eaux de Chanel Paris Biarritz ($113 for the travel size) is one of my favorites. It’s been a favorite for years because I love fresh citrus scents. It’s a beautiful mix of Sicilian mandarin and lily of the valley. For me the citrus dominates and the floral notes are really subtle but strong enough to complement the mandarin and soften the overall vibe. I love that it’s a travel size so I can carry it in my tote bag on the go or when traveling. Paris Riviera This is another citrus, but a bit brighter and sharper.
I smelled four new scents. Exclusive Body Oil It’s truly a luxurious bottle. beige it’s the best. Gardenia, 1957 after that CoromandelI have tried 1957 Oil I bought it in store and the scent lingered on my skin for hours into the evening. The formula of this oil is so good. The texture is perfect, not thick or sticky. If I didn’t have the Gardenia I would have bought the Beige, but this bottle is so big it’s going to take me forever to use it up.
I have a preview No 5 L’eau Eau de Toilette Drops ($155) will officially launch on the 13th. Their PR team let us know about the launch of their classic newest fragrance. No 5 Low It comes in a round case like the hand cream, but the bottle is clear. It has a fresh, clean scent that’s perfect for the heat of summer. It’s a fresh, clean, floral citrus + aldehyde scent. It’s a beautiful blend of lemon, mandarin, orange, rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, vetiver, cedar, and musk. I think it’s very beautiful! (The nail above is Bois des Isles It will probably be abolished Rouge Noir similar).
Finally, the new Comet Limited Edition ($325 – $500). This is a beautiful, soft, powdery floral scent with cherry blossom, iris, and heliotrope. It has a powdery feel, but the cherry blossom adds a sweetness. It’s a light, airy scent. For me, the staying power is very long and powerful. It’s not exactly the kind of scent I normally like, but it has a fresh, soft, feminine vibe to it.
