Chanel Tenderie Le Vernis 641 Nail Polish was launched as part of Chanel’s spring collection Reverie Parisienne. The other two nail polishes released are Paradisio and Desirio. All three shades are listed as limited edition.
Chanel says of Le Vernis:

Chanel Le Vernis 641 Tenderly Nail Color
Chanel Le Vernis Tenderly is a cool-toned medium mauve. There are no micro shimmers and it has a creamy finish. There seems to be some gray dirty ingredients mixed inside the bottle.
When I first saw a photo of Tenderly online, I thought it looked similar to Chanel’s Sweet Lilac nail polish. But the photos I saw on Instagram were beside the point. In fact, they were very far away. Because when I finally saw it at the Chanel counter, I realized that it was quite different from Sweet Lilac. I don’t have a nail polish similar to Tenderly.
Chanel Tenderly Le Vernis 641 Nail Polish Swatch
The Chanel Tenderly Nail Polish on my nails is a very pretty dirty mauve that looks like a cool-toned particuliere depending on the lighting. I think it’s probably because it has gray in it.
It already has a glossy finish so no top coat is needed. If that is what you are using the top coat for. However, for this article, I didn’t use a top coat because I wanted to express pure beauty.
In the photo above, you can see that the mauve is mixed with a dirty gray. Chanel Tenderly has a creamy gel-like consistency. The brush glided smoothly over the nails and I had no problems applying it.
The consistency is neither too thin nor too thick. There were no bubbles and no uneven application.
Performance and usage
Gentle nail polish dries very quickly. It completely dried on my nails in less than 10 minutes. I’m happy that the shine remains even after a few days. I think applying a top coat will make it even more beautiful and glossy.
Chanel Tenderly has great color. I only needed to apply two coats to achieve an opaque finish. It becomes semi-transparent with one coat. But who wears nail polish in just one coat?
Even nail polishes that are opaque in one coat will always be prone to chipping after one coat. In the photos in this post, I only used two coats, but you can see how opaque and smooth the finish is.
It will last for 4 days until the edges chip.
comparison
I don’t have anything similar to Tenderly, so I’ve only compared it here to Chanel Particuliere and Chanel Provocation Nail Polish. After taking the photos for this post, I used Provocation on one of the nails to supplement the tenderness.
What’s interesting is that I only did it with my right hand. That night I went out and forgot to do the same with my left hand. You can imagine how strange that looked. Anyway, the contrast between the shades was very beautiful. It’s even prettier than when I used Provocation with Particuliere.
my personal experience
I was really expecting it to be a light mauve color, closer to a sweet lilac. But I still love it, even if it wasn’t what I expected. Tenderly is TLC for your nails. TLC stands for Tender Loving Care and also stands for Tenderly Le vernis Color.
This week, Saturday is Valentine’s Day, so it may not be the perfect manicure. Of course, I’m going to wear red nail polish and red lipstick for my Saturday date.
That’s no surprise! However, Tenderly is a very beautiful nail color that is perfect for spring. Pair it with a pastel green dress for a spring-like look. The Easter egg hunt may be called off because Tenderley is already a great find!
last word
I bought Chanel Le Vernis 641 Tenderly at Chanel for $27. I think this is the perfect manicure for spring. If you like this color, you can wear it in any season.
It’s a limited edition, so if you’re thinking of purchasing it, you might want to order early. At the time of posting, Tenderly is still available at Nordstrom, Amazon, and Target for $27.
