Holiday beauty is officially here, and today we’re taking a look at the Chantecaille Precious Metals collection for the 2023 holiday season. I picked up four items from the collection and have reviews and swatches for you today. The glossy shades are also available in the regular standard packaging, but I believe they all come in the limited edition packaging. I’m not entirely sure if any of these are re-promotions as I haven’t really paid much attention to their previous holiday collections, but they’re all new to me.
Precious Gold Illumination Powder
Chantecaille has launched a beautiful gold highlighter this season. Precious Gold Illumination Powder ($102). It has a very fine sparkle with a soft golden champagne shine. I think it’s really great. It blends beautifully into your skin for a flattering, glowing appearance. Pigments are easy to layer and blend. The finish is very smooth and pores are not noticeable. I feel like the color itself could easily fool you, but I really liked the undertone and finish. I don’t like the price even though it comes with special limited edition packaging. I think you’ll see me wearing it a lot.

The products that seem to be the most talked about are: The brilliance of gold eyes that shine with gold leaf ($68). The compact features a striped pattern with pink and gold sparkles. The pink is an overspray, and underneath is a duochrome pink, gold, and orange-like shimmer. The gorgeous pink gold shine is perfect for parties.
I love shimmery topper shadows, and I have many favorites that are even more glamorous than this one. For some reason, I find this a little too shimmery and shimmery for my taste. The photos are beautiful and look really great on camera. It’s too glamorous in real life, but maybe I’m the only one who thinks so. All the reviews I’ve seen and read have been great. If you love the sparkling pink gold eye look, be sure to check it out at your local counter if you can.

rose quartz lip crystal
of rose quartz lip crystal ($52) is also so popular that it’s sold out almost everywhere. This is a beautiful matte mauve shine with a glitter overspray on the outside. It is certainly beautiful, the color is pigmented and eye-catching with frost. I found this too chilly for my tastes, but I can’t pinpoint exactly why I’m not a fan of this. I think the metallic finish is a bit too sharp and harsh on my skin and lip color. reminds me of the cool toned version of . MAC “O” Frost Lipstick. You can soften the frost by adding a little shine to the surface.
Blithe’s Brilliant Lip Gloss
Let’s take a look at the end. Blithe’s Brilliant Lip Gloss ($40). This is shiny and available in regular standard packaging. It’s a very sheer milky pink with gold glitter. Achieves a smooth texture and high gloss. There’s very little pigment, but you can get a subtle milky pink glow with this.
Overall, I think this collection offers a beautiful, put-together look that’s perfect for the holidays. The one that stands out for me is the Precious Gold Illuminating Powder, which is very unique and if not incredibly expensive. I think the undertone and shimmer look is really nice.
The other items are also beautiful, especially for upcoming holiday parties or if you want to add more glamor and sparkle to your life. For me, the sheen is too sheer to justify the splurge. Lipstick is a pass for me. Eyeshadow is something I think you can save for special dressy occasions, but it’s not a necessity for me.
