[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] As always, Charlotte Tilbury will be on many people’s wishlists this year. Judging by the past few years, I think they, like many brands, have reduced their offerings. This is a combination of the effects of COVID-19 and Brexit. Many brands have excess inventory to sell, so it doesn’t make sense to produce more when there is outstanding inventory anyway.
I actually quite enjoy these tight edits – they don’t seem too over-the-top or overwhelming – the Pillow Talk Kit is a great example of this. This is a Beauty Fine Lip & Cheek Secret set that includes a full size nude pink matte lipstick and a travel size lip liner, lip gloss, and beauty light wand, all in the shade Pillow Talk.
This is a very easy and very wearable kit, priced at £43 (including a £19 saving compared to buying the individual products). here It will keep makeup fans really satisfied. I realize Black Friday and Cyber Monday are coming up, but since this is already a “good value” set and it’s new, I don’t think there will be any more discounts (but I don’t know).
An even better deal is the Pillow Talk on the Go kit, which includes a lip liner, mini lipstick, mini mascara, blush, and (it came with a lid, but I somehow missed it) eyeliner. It’s also priced at £43, but includes a saving of £23.the here. I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a makeup lover who wouldn’t try to find this under the tree.
This is not my favorite mascara, but the millions sold proves I’m in the minority. There are a few ‘baubles’ like this (the one you should buy is the £14 mini lipstick baubles) here) And I think these two fit nicely into the under £20 bracket – this mascara is also £14 here.
If you’re looking for a particularly purposeful gift, Rock Star Lipstick is another option. With her mission to raise awareness, Charlotte Tilbury joined the Elton John AIDS Foundation as the Rocket Foundation’s official founding beauty partner in 2023. These lipsticks are based on Elton’s costume, so they certainly deliver on that. She also has the option of donating to the fund. The two shades are Rocket Girl and Ready for Lust, which are berry tones.
