Do you watch “The Morning Show” with Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston? If so, we hope the episode that aired last week got your geeky beauty wheels spinning! Near the end, there’s a scene where Reese’s character is in a dressing room with a bunch of beauty products in the background. is on display.

As a beauty geek like me, I hit pause and tried to name as many brands as I could. I’ll investigate with my little eyes…

  • mario badescu
  • L’Occitane
  • clinique
  • biossance

I think the tall bottle in the middle (the dark blue, periwinkle, and mint green bottle) is Oribe, but I’m not sure. Hmm.

Don’t ask me why these things feel like a treasure hunt. But a treasure hunt is a treasure hunt.

By the way, Reese’s hair in this scene is my favorite hair. I like loose curls, I like volume, I like smoothness. I especially love how the layers around the cheekbones frame the face. Hmm, that’s very nice. I try to keep my hair in the best condition it can, but I don’t want to put in the extra effort to keep those little prickly areas around my hairline clean. Ha!

What I like to put the most effort into is securing them with these weird little flat clips and spraying them with hairspray.

When you’re trying to style your hair but it won’t listen to you

By the way, this makeup was just for fun, and while it looks pretty cool from a distance, up close it has more of an ’80s feel to it. I’m wearing the new Chanel Holiday Eye Her palette and pigmented red lipstick. Rouge Allure Rextraite Midnight Red.

It’s parent-teacher conference time this week, so Connor is home a lot. That means you can spend time with your little buddy, just like the good old days.

We went to TJ’s during the day (a real splurge) and she begged me to buy these Brussels sprout stems.

I have never seen a child so excited about vegetables. I had no idea how to choose good stems, so I just followed my instincts and hoped for the best.

How has your week been so far? Are there any new reports?

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen
