I wanted to stop by and say hello and wish you a happy Friday.
I haven’t felt like writing much lately, so I’ve been quiet. To be honest, it’s been a weird week. As I waited for several doctor’s visits and test results, I spent my days feeling fear and uncertainty about my future.
The older I get, the less I seem to really understand everything. When I was young, it was as if an invisible thread was weaving my life in a logical, linear manner. And I thought the path was something I could control.
But now, nothing has any meaning to me anymore, and everything feels like just the roll of a die. I feel upset. Not moored.
But in a way, it was liberating. I now know what boundaries I need to set in order to feel supported and valued.
I’m glad I made it in time for Friday.
I didn’t really have a plan when I sat down to write this. So this means loving everything that gives you your beautiful body, wearing glitter because you deserve to be sparkly and shining bright, and using everything you have to make yourself feel better. I hope this sweet Friday reminds you to love those you care about most.
