China Glaze Exquisite Nail Polish was launched in 2012 as part of the China Glaze Breast Cancer Awareness Collection called the United In Purpose Collection. I bought China Glaze Nail Lacquer for the first time in a while. I stopped buying nail polish a few years ago because I wasn’t happy with the nail polish I had previously purchased.
However, I have to say that I really like this one. It caught my eye because it was pink and had glitter in it. It took me a long time to finally review this because I had a hard time opening the bottle.
If it says “nail lacquer with hardening agent,” you know it’s something that hardens the painted nails. I had a hard time twisting the bottle cap open because I didn’t know that it would also harden on the inside of the bottle, especially on the threaded part of the bottle. lol!

China Glaze Exquisite is a bright bubblegum pink with a shimmery finish. Not only the bottle but also the nails have silver micro glitter in them. It’s a little brighter and a little cooler. However, it is a little transparent. With one swipe, your brushstrokes won’t be noticeable, but they will be transparent. Even after applying two coats, it’s a little sheer so you can see your nail lines.
I usually apply 3 coats to get a more even and slightly opaque coverage like in the photo in this post. China Glaze exquisite nail lacquer is not runny, but has a rather thin consistency. The application is completed in no time and it feels like a dream.
The brush glides smoothly over the nails and distributes the color and shine all over the nails without any problems at all. There were no bubbles or streaks. Each coat takes approximately 5 minutes to dry. However, for the first coat, wait about 2-3 minutes before applying the second coat.

On my nails, it’s a light, bright, sparkly bubblegum pink. It looks great even without a top coat. The finish is very shimmery, almost metallic, and it becomes even more shiny when you apply a top coat.
However, in the photos in this post, I didn’t use a top coat to show the true finish and color of Exquisite. As you can see, it is already very beautiful in itself. If you don’t apply a top coat, it will take about 4-5 days for the edges to fade.

I think China Glaze Exquisite is the perfect nail color for spring. I bought it at Robinsons Manila for 350 pesos and I think it was a great purchase.
I’m glad I bought it because it’s my favorite color! Shiny pink nail polish means love. Well worth the price paid and worth the effort to open the bottle. lol!
