Christmas Spirit Essential Oil Diffuser Blend is a Young Living blend that smells exactly like the holidays. With spicy hints of cinnamon, bright notes of orange, and ground aromas of black spruce, this blend is my absolute favorite this time of year. As it turns out, this is one of the easiest essential oil recipes, and I’m going to share it with you in this post. That way, you, too, can decorate your home with a festive scent this holiday season. Not to mention, this DIY Christmas spirit blend recipe is economical.
When I discovered essential oils 15 years ago, I started my journey with Young Living. It was registered and sold on YL. As time went on, my budget couldn’t keep up with my new obsession, so I started researching other essential oil companies and trying to find one with the same quality as YL, but at a lower price. I can easily say that I have found some comparable essential oil companies that I can vouch for. However, Young Living has some of the best essential oil blends. Many alternative companies recreate these blends, but I enjoy finding recipes and recreating them myself. As the holiday season approaches, we’ve recreated our wonderful YL blend, Christmas Spirit. A perfect blend to diffuse throughout the holiday season.

christmas spirit blend Composed of cinnamon bark, sweet orange, and black spruce essential oils. This blend is the perfect holiday diffuser blend that beautifully embodies the scent of Christmas and instantly evokes the holiday spirit. Many Christmas spirit lovers say this is the perfect essential oil diffuser recipe to diffuse on Christmas morning.
Christmas Spirit is primarily intended for diffusing and contains cinnamon bark, which is a hot oil, so it is not recommended for topical use. Please be careful if you have small children. This is meant to be diffused during the Christmas season and is a healthy alternative to burning candles.
Burning candles is a popular way to make your home smell like Christmas, but candles often contain fragrances and waxes that can be harmful to your health. Diffusing essential oils is a safer and better way to give your home a festive Christmas scent.
This essential oil blend doesn’t just smell great. Diffusing essential oils actually benefits the mind, body, and soul. This blend uses essential oils to help support respiratory health during the winter months, as well as have a calming and relaxing effect. Diffusing is my favorite way to enjoy essential oils, and I can attest that they have helped calm my nerves and ease the winter blues.
According to Young Living newspaper,
christmas spirit is a beautiful medley of three oils that will remind you of winter holidays. Orange essential oil has a bright aroma and is believed to bring joy, peace, and happiness to those who hold it. Cinnamon bark essential oil is an oriental oil of wealth. Christmas Spirit Essential Oil Blend Recipe:
Hint: After mixing the three oils, leave it for a few days to allow the spicy scent to “ripen” and become even more fragrant. Also, cinnamon can cause dermatitis, so store the blend out of direct sunlight and use extreme caution. For this reason, it is important to keep this blend out of the reach of children.
How to spread the Christmas spirit:
Fill the diffuser with water and add 10-20 drops.

Why create more Christmas spirit than buying a blend?
it might be easier You can purchase the blend on Amazon.. However, if you choose to make it yourself, you may have to pay a little more up front, but it will be much more economical in the long run since you will be able to make three more bottles of the blend.
Each essential oil comes in a 10ml bottle, each containing 200 drops of oil. In other words, one cinnamon essential oil can make three 5ml bottles. One orange oil can make 8 blends, and one black spruce oil can make 13 bottles of this blend.
- Orange oil-$9
- Cinnamon Bark-$16
- Black Spruce-$12
- 5 ml bottles (10 pack) – $9
If you pay $46 upfront, you get at least three Christmas spirit blends for $15.33 each. A 5ml bottle of Young Living Christmas Spirit costs $17.37. Needless to say, orange oil and black spruce have many other uses. Orange oil is a great oil that I use almost every day to remove sticky residues and stains on hard white surfaces. Black spruce can be used in many diffuser blends, including the Volcano Capri candle essential oil blend (Anthropologie) that I will be posting soon.
The only reason to buy a pre-made blend is if you’re in a pinch and don’t want to take the time to make your own. Making your own blends is much more valuable and gives a nice personal touch when given as a Christmas gift.
