Hello beautiful creatures! Today I want to talk about Colorescience Sunforgettable Flex SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen. This is a new product to me, but it’s been around for a while. Colorescience has created this product in four highly flexible shades. I’ve read that the lightest shade Fair has been reformulated to make it brighter. The original version was orange for me, so I was glad to get the new version with my purchase.

What you look for in SPF

Last year, Dave and I started looking for a 100% mineral sunscreen. There is a short but specific list of requirements.

  • Mineral SPF must be 100%
  • Must be SPF 50++++
  • Should not cause breakouts
  • have to work under makeup

Finding a mineral sunscreen that met all four of these requirements was more difficult than I imagined. Many of them are chalky and don’t blend well with my skin. Does not work over makeup.

affordable price

My final requirement, and this is the one I had to be most flexible with, is affordable.I usually buy Canmake Mermaid Skin SPF 50++++ Each bottle costs $11 to $13 during the sale, so you can save a lot of money. It’s about 40ml.In comparison mermaid skin $11 for 40ml color science flex At $54 for 55 ml, Mermaid Skin is definitely more affordable.

How to apply SPF

I prefer to apply SPF products and wait at least 10 minutes before applying makeup. If you need to reapply SPF during the day, apply it every two hours, or more often if you sweat a lot or are in the water. I set a timer on my phone to remind me to reapply or it will fry.

Does Sunforgettable Flex SPF 50 leave a white cast?

no, Colorescience Sunforgettable Flex SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen in Fair does not leave any white marks on me. Leaves a calm pinkish peach hue.

final thoughts
