The updated formula is said to be water resistant for “18 hours” and is “highly pigmented” on both the lash line and waterline. The brand says the formula sets “after approximately 10 seconds.” Many of the shades were semi-opaque to opaque and had buildable coverage, but some shades had uneven coverage, were sheer, and didn’t build well, making it difficult to apply or use. It was more difficult to do.
Most of the shades were creamy enough to glide over my lash line without tugging or tugging, but some shades were harder and more prone to breakage and dragging.
Based on the water test, the formula seemed to be water resistant, but the wear time was only around 10-13 hours (depending on the shade) instead of 18 hours. Many of the shimmering shades lasted 4-6 hours on the water, while the more matte shades tended to last 5-7 hours on the water. Pencil eyeliner generally lasts a long time, but it’s much shorter than the advertised 18 hours, so for people who aren’t particular about 18-hour longevity, there are many shades that are rated lower than they appear.
