Color Pop Heroines Sailor Moon Ultra Lip Duo A new limited edition lip gloss and liquid lipstick duo. The gloss in the tube looked more golden/beige, but it was pretty clear so it had more of a shimmer/shiny effect. I wish liquid lipsticks were more forgiving to lip lines and textures and lasted longer.

This formula provides full coverage with a “high shine” that is “smooth” without being sticky. The consistency was lightweight, smooth, non-sticky, and spreadable, making it extremely luxurious and comfortable to wear.
While some shades were smoother than others, I noticed that the darker shades tended to settle more noticeably on my lip lines. I was surprised – and disappointed – because one of the things I liked most about the original gloss formula was how forgiving and smooth it was.
As marketed, the pigmentation was sheer to semi-sheer, but the longevity was solid (good for a gloss) at 3-4 hours. This formula felt moisturizing when I wore it. It smelled like sweet red candy, but I couldn’t taste it.

The formula is said to have “medium coverage” and dries to a “diffusing matte finish” that “will not crack or flake.” Most of the shades had semi-opaque to opaque coverage, so they were more pigmented than commercially available.
The texture was lightweight, thin, and very fluid (almost watery in a way, but there’s nothing wrong with that!), making it easy to spread across the lips and apply the product evenly. I noticed that this formula is generally forgiving on lip texture and lip lines and doesn’t settle into lip lines while drying.
Most shades take 30-60 minutes to become more matte. If not, you can also gently blot to achieve a diffused matte finish faster. Once the formula was mostly dry, it felt lightweight yet remained flexible and comfortable to wear. Even after wearing it for 4-5 hours, I felt that it did not dry out over time. It had a faint sweet smell, but I couldn’t taste it.
