Whether you’re a summer style person or live in the colder months, there’s something undeniably appealing about snuggling up somewhere warm in winter in a cozy knit. A good wool jumper never goes out of style, so it’s well worth investing in a special designer piece if your budget allows. However, if you don’t find inspiration in my edit below, choose one of the more affordable options, or keep an eye out for when catwalk style filters down to the high street. Alternatively, you can rent your favorite style if you have a special occasion to wrap up, such as heading out on the slopes or heading out on a winter vacation.
Hot styles this winter include timeless oversized knits in neutral khakis and creams, or going bold with a monogrammed cardigan for a statement look. Remember that knitwear does not have to be limited to the upper half. A chic knitted skirt will also enhance your outfit, and a classic ribbed beanie hat is a wardrobe essential. If you don’t already have one (or took off last season’s beanie on the bus after a night out), my edit has his Acne Studios option.
