I love applying cream eyeshadow. Not only is it easy to apply, but it lasts all day long. It creates a very beautiful base and can be layered with powder shadows on top of it, as well as worn alone.
Below is a list of my favorite colors and formulas for cream eyeshadows.
Laura Mercier Au Naturel – It’s probably the color I wear the most because it really makes blue eyes stand out.
laura mercier caramel – Gorgeous, warm toffee hue.
merit vachetta – This is a rich, warm brown that pairs well with nude lips.
merit studio – This is almost identical to Laura Mercier Haut Naturel.
bobbi brown nude beach – I love warm neutral browns.
Mac eyeshadow soft brown (Not a cream): It’s a very beautiful warm brown that can be applied to the creases of the eyes to add depth.
My favorite brush to use for cream eyeshadow is EF1 by Makeup by Mario. I use the flat side for cream shadows and the round side for powder shadows that I apply in the crease.
