Dior Splendid Rose (621) Rouge Blush ($48.00 for 0.22 oz.) is a medium-dark reddish plum with a moderate, warm undertone and a satin finish.
- Medium, buildable coverage (as intended)
- Light powdery, slightly thick texture
- I picked it up well with a dry brush and blurred it out nicely.

The formula is considered to have a “silky” and “lightweight” texture with long-lasting and “buildable” strength. The blush had a smooth, light consistency and was finely ground, not as smooth as I expected, but not too powdery or pressed too tightly into the pan.
Most of the shades I tested had medium buildable pigmentation and were difficult to build up, but can definitely be intensified for higher coverage if needed. It’s done. It applied evenly and blended in without any problems, giving it a more than semi-matte finish and blending well into the skin. The shimmery shades were even lower level, with a glossy, more metallic finish rather than an obvious sparkle.
On my skin, most of the shades I tried lasted 8 hours and showed no signs of fading. The powder had a soft floral scent.
