How to apply Revel Nail’s Cateye Metallic Gel Polish Duo:
Materials required:

- UV or LED nail lamp (36-48 watts recommended)
- Fine drill bit or 150 grit file
- 180 grit file
- Lint-free wipes or cotton pads Rubbing alcohol
- Revel Nail Tack Free Gel

Step 1: Disinfect and prepare your nails
First, disinfect your hands with soap and water. Next, use a cuticle pusher to gently push the cuticle back. Use a fine drill bit or a 150-grit file to gently polish the surface of your natural nail. This will help remove shine and create a surface for the gel polish to adhere to.
Step 2: Shape your nails
Use a 180-grit file to shape your nails to your desired shape. You can choose your favorite shape such as square, circle, or oval. Always file in one direction to avoid damaging your nails.
Step 3: Clean your nails
Take a lint-free wipe or cotton pad and thoroughly clean each nail with rubbing alcohol to remove any oil or residue from the nail surface.
Step 4: Apply gel base
Apply a thin layer of Level Nail Gel Base from the cuticle to the free edge of the nail for complete coverage. Don’t forget to cap the tips of your nails to seal the gel and make your nail polish more durable. Cure the base coat for 1 minute under a UV or LED nail lamp.
Now apply the Rebel Nail Cat Eye Metallic Gel Duo gel color. Take your chosen duo gel color and apply a thin layer from the cuticle to the free edge of each nail. Place the cap again to completely cover the tip of the nail. Cure the gel color for 1 minute under a UV or LED nail lamp.
Step 6: Apply magnetic gel polish
Now add a magnetic effect to the nails. Apply magnetic gel polish to the entire surface of the nail so that it does not harden yet.
Step 7: Create a cat’s eye effect
Pick up a cat’s eye magnet and place it on one nail just above the wet magnetic gel polish. Gently approach both sides of the nail, the tip, and the cuticle. You’ll see the magnetic glitter gravitate toward the center, creating a mesmerizing cat-eye effect. You can freely adjust the position of the magnet to achieve your desired design.
Step 8: Flash Cure
Once you’re happy with the cat’s eye effect on one nail, flash cure for 15 seconds under a UV or LED nail lamp. Then move on to the next nail and repeat the same process for all nails.
Step 9: Final curing
After creating the cat’s eye effect on all nails, cure all nails under a UV or LED nail lamp for 1 minute to fully cure the gel polish.
Step 10: Apply top coat
Apply a thin layer of Level Nail Tack Free Gel from the cuticle to the free edge of the nail and cap the tip as usual. This top coat protects the cat’s eye effect and adds shine to your manicure. Cure the top coat under a UV or LED nail lamp for 1 minute.
Step 11: Nourish your nails
To finish your manicure, apply Rebel Nail Cuticle Oil to the skin around your nails. This nourishes the cuticle and keeps your nails full and beautiful.
