This recipe is for DIY overnight lip masks that will help you cover your lips all night and keep you moisturized. This recipe is made with only natural ingredients and nourishes your lips.

If you subscribe to my newsletter, you may know what I had to do a lot An experiment to find the perfect Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask Dupe recipe. I made so many lip balms, including lanolin balm. This turned out to be great for dry skin (lanolin is not the lips as it smells strange). My blog as I know has a lot of lip balms, but there is a claim that the two lip balms don’t look similar, so each one has gained fame.

This recipe wasn’t the creamy, shiny balm I needed for Laneige Dupe. Meanwhile, I use it randomly to relieve dry lips. The more I used it, the more I realized it was a great lip balm. It is very thick and nourishing, and is very effective when applied before bed, and when you wake up, it is still there. Talk about the perfect overnight lip mask! I used the scent with Tutti Frutti Candy Flavoring and it turned out to be very nice too. So sorry for being redundant lately, this balm is so good that I can’t share it!

What you need to make an overnight lip mask:

  • 2 tsp. Caster oil
  • 2 tsp. Jojoba oil
  • 2 tsp. Shea butter
  • 2 tsp. Beeswax
  • 1/2 tsp. Vitamin E Oil
  • 10 Drops Tutti Frutti Candy Flavors (Optional)

tool

  • Medium saucepan
  • Glass Pyrex Measuring Cup
  • Small spoons
  • Mix the stick or spoon
  • 1 oz jar or lip balm tube

Instructions

    1. Fill a medium saucepan with half of water to create a double boiler.
    2. Place a glass Pyrex measuring cup in the water.
    3. Add all the ingredients Exclude Vitamin E oil.
    4. Turn the stove over medium heat to completely melt the ingredients.
    5. Remove from the stove and add vitamin E oil.
    6. Pour into a container.
    7. This recipe is just over a ounce.

Note

  • This recipe creates 1 ounce.
  • The shelf life is 6 months. All ingredients are oil-based so no preservatives are required.

Substitution of components:

As far as replacement is concerned, castor oil is a must. It is sticky, thick and helps last. Jojoba oil can be used as a substitute for the nutritional carrier oil you have at hand. I linked the white beeswax pellets, but you can use yellow. There is no difference except for the colour of the finished product. If you want to use plant-based waxes such as Candelilla or Carnauba. If you need more details, we’ve covered Vegan Wax in detail. You should reduce these waxes from 2 tsp. a bit. They tend to be a little difficult. Vitamin E is really great to include lip products. Additionally, it acts as a natural preservative. However, if you don’t have it and don’t want to get it, then just leave it out.

This recipe requires no recipes using Tutti Frutti flavors at all. Recently I’ve been enjoying experimenting with candy flavors and lip products. I got it this A set of 8 flavors. I used the cherry flavor in my upcoming lip recipes and bubble gum in my lip oil recipes.

Not only do I have this DIY overnight lip mask recipe from Laneige Dupe Recipe, but I also have another recipe using soy lecithin. I’ll share it at some point!
