From making skincare cocktails to double masking, I’ve discovered some creative ways to mix, match, and multitask, and I’m sharing them with you.

By now, you probably know the many benefits of charcoal in skin care. Derived from natural sources such as coconut shell, bamboo, and oak wood, this ingredient has become a skincare staple due to its ability to treat clogged pores. Charcoal traps and removes impurities, balancing and detoxifying the skin. However, its uses are not limited to that. From sebum management to exfoliation and deep cleansing, charcoal is a powerful ingredient for treating all kinds of pore-related issues. And when it comes to pimples and age spots, we know that they can appear in places other than the face. The secret to moist skin is jennifer, one of our digital project managers, is a game-changer for all skin types. “After cleansing my face, I use Stone Crop Hydrating Mist to moisturize my skin right before applying my Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum. Hyaluronic acid serums are more effective when applied to damp skin. I’ve been trying it on my dry skin too and it helps lock in the moisture because I read that.” She may have read that here, and she’s not wrong!

Our digital marketing coordinator Naerihas a secret to making your hair removal routine go smoothly. “I like to apply Pineapple Refining Tonique to my arms and legs 24 to 48 hours after shaving, followed by Yuzu Body Oil or Apricot Body Oil to moisturize. The AHAs in Tonique help gently moisturize. It has been found to exfoliate and reduce ingrown hairs and dark spots on legs and arms. Alyssa also has hacks for dealing with dry hands. “I applied the Kombucha Her Microbiome Leave On Her Mask on my hands at night. I check after 10 minutes and there’s usually no residue left behind. It’s been great on my hands this winter.”
While we’re on the subject, Senior Production Artist, Yukikouses Linden Calendula Treatment overnight on her hands, which are particularly dry in the winter. She seals it with cotton gloves and by morning it’s soft and moisturized. Other members of the Eminence Organics team offer similar advice regarding moisturizing your hands. Some people use the Bakuchiol + Niacinamide Moisturizer morning and night, while others love the Strawberry Rhubarb Mask. After applying it to your face and neck, rub the excess liquid onto the back of your hands and wash it all off after 10 minutes.

“When my skin is a little oily and congested, I love using Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant to exfoliate my skin. I use it on areas where I’m concerned about enlarged pores or excess sebum production. When you leave the product on, Halemoor clay and various polishes (rice, chickpea, and oat) absorb excess oil and remove impurities from your skin. Leave it to dry for a few minutes. Once removed, emulsify and remove before proceeding to the next step in your skin care routine.
Dull Destroyer
Another tip she shares is to apply the Turmeric Energizing Treatment, let it sit for about 10 minutes, then layer the Lime Stimulating Mask on top. This her double dose of antioxidants and added heat and vitamin C will brighten even the dullest of skin.

Mixing and layering treatments and masks is a favorite hobby of many members of the Eminence Organics team. His one suggestion for combination skin (oily T-zone and dry cheeks) is to use Acne Advanced Clarifying Mask on your nose and chin and a moisturizing mask like Coconut Cream Mask on your cheeks. is.
