Every little detail is either praised or criticized. Couture dresses from fashion houses like Chanel, Givenchy, Dior, and Louis Vuitton either impress or disgust us. The same goes for jewelry, bags, shoes, hair, and makeup.
Two makeup looks stood out at this year’s Oscars. I will tell you about one of them.

Emma Stone looks dazzling with NARS makeup
There’s something wrong with Emma! What made her unforgettable at the Oscars ceremony?
Was it her exquisite gold Givenchy haute couture dress that was flown from Paris to Los Angeles or the fact that she won the prestigious Best Actress award for her role in La La Land? Maybe? Or is it because of her gorgeous makeup? Or was it all of the above?

Emma Stone may be the star of the show, but her red carpet beauty is all thanks to her glam squad. The beauty team, led by makeup artist Rachel Goodwin of NARS Cosmetics, dazzled her with her timeless Hollywood beauty.
Rachel said, “Emma’s dress was inspired by the 1930s Hollywood glamor look we created with her makeup.” She said she was also inspired by the romantic paintings of Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
Emma’s hairstyle had just the right amount of volume and texture. Her signature copper waves were polished to perfection by hairstylist Mara Roszak.

prepare for the big day
Beautiful makeup is not something that can be completed in an instant. You need to prepare your face so that you have a smooth canvas to work with. In Emma’s case, the makeup artist wanted her to have glowing skin. Rachel shared the secret weapon she uses to achieve her Oscar winner’s glowing skin.
First, Rachel used the Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask ($162) to hydrate Emma’s skin, making it look plump and healthy. The makeup artist also applied the newly launched Sisley White Ginger Contouring Oil ($190) to Emma’s arms and legs. I don’t know if the latter is still available at Neiman Marcus, but it’s currently available at Nordstrom.

The Makeup: NARS
For base makeup, I used NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint, followed by the brand’s best-selling Radiant Creamy Concealer. Once the base is complete, apply color to the cheeks. It makes sense to choose the brand’s other bestseller, Orgasm Blush. However, instead of powder blush, Rachel used NARS Orgasm Liquid Blush, which is not yet available at the time of posting.
In addition to the beauty products listed above, Goodwin also used NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadow in Himalia and NARS Skin Illuminator in Hot Sand. These makeup items paired well with the gold dress and gave the La La Land star a beautiful glow.
But Emma Stone’s Oscar look isn’t complete without a bold, dramatic lipstick. To complete the look, Rachel applied NARS Mona Audacious Lipstick to Emma’s lips. An intense brick red hue with a matte finish that perfectly complements a classic Hollywood glamor red carpet look.

Congratulations, Emma, for winning Best Actress at this year’s Oscars, as well as Best Dressed and Best Makeup (at least in my opinion). Rachel Goodwin and the rest of the beauty team did an absolutely amazing job.
