Brighten your face in your 40s

I think one of my most favorite foundations has fallen off the winner’s podium. I finally found a longwear makeup base that I love more than Lancôme’s Tan Idol Ultra Wear. It’s the much-awaited Lancôme Tan Idol Ultra Wear Care & Glow.

No, I’m not kidding. This is a completely different foundation. Fresher, lighter and with a more radiant finish, it continues to fly the longwear flag. Want to add some shine and maintain your flawless makeup? Be part of it.

Why I loved the original Teint Idole

I really shouldn’t say that loved It’s past tense because I still think it’s a Lancôme original. tent idol ultra wear is one of the most comprehensive luxury foundations. The coverage is great, it lasts day and night no matter what I’m doing, and somehow it keeps my skin still like skin and doesn’t wipe all the life out of it. You don’t need to use a separate concealer, but you won’t have to wear too much or heavy makeup either. It’s a supple-feeling face base with no stickiness or fine lines left behind, and it’s much more plump and less drying. should.

Why care and grow are different

The new Care & Glow Foundation adds ‘thoughtful’ skincare ingredients to the Teint Idole formula, the clue is in the name, giving the foundation a healthy, radiant glow. It has slightly less coverage than the Teint Idole Ultra Wear, but at the same time it’s easier to build up and a little more flexible, so it’s easy to double up around your nose and under your eyes if you need a little more camouflage.

Importantly, Teint Idole Ultra Wear Care & Glow maintains its long-wear claim (24-hour wear), so while we like the original foundation, it’s not quite the camera-perfect matte velvet finish. It’s the perfect switch for those looking for a radiant shine. Original.

Is Teint Idole Ultra Wear Care & Glow Foundation better than the original?

I’m going to do my best to say it here. yes. I prefer the new Care & Grow version. I’ve been wearing this regularly for about a year now, and I have to say it’s much more versatile than the original standard version. While the original is very good at creating the perfect canvas (it looks especially good in films, which are a big part of my working life), Care & Glow gives me the touch of glow that I think my face needs. Just add. Apparently, she was rushing through her 40s at a speed I didn’t even know existed.

When it comes to my makeup, I don’t need glitter or glittery highlights. “I want a fresh face, like I just jogged on a canal.” Because I don’t live near a canal, and even if I did, you’d never see me jogging. Because it’s unlikely. I just want the benefits of jogging for my skin. Ditch the insanely sweaty look that’s all the rage on Instagram that gives you that oiled-up, mirror-polished look.

on my face I never have Even when I was 19, I naturally looked that dewy (I probably bought Benson & Hedges 10 times a day), and now I don’t need to be that dewy. All it takes is to look like you’ve not only spent three years crossing the North Pole, surviving on a dehydrating diet of gin and dry crackers. You need to look like you’re not spending half the year stuck at home typing on your laptop with your knees up against the radiator. Currently, you need to look like a woman who is 85% off a diet of Colston Bassett cheese.

So, yeah. Give me some shine. If you need more, pull out the highlighter from your special lost-and-found drawer and paint over it. If you want to be like the Tiktok people and become a “complete robot” as if gilded, I’ll do it myself. If I want it to look like 43 snails are running circles over my face, I know how to make it happen. And thank you, Mr. Lancôme, for not incorporating that into your Tan Her Idol Care & Glow.

Teint Idole Ultra Wear Care & Glow before and after photos

We have provided some before and after photos to prove the genius of our work. You can see that Care & Glow has reversed the redness around my nose and some of the darkness around my eyes. This was a very light application. It’s almost a “mixture” of that, to use poetic language, with more targeted applications in areas of need.

Let’s zoom in so you can understand it better. Can you see how beautiful and fresh the finish is? The only way I can describe the feel of the foundation is to say bouncy and supple, but I hope I don’t sound like a character in a movie. continue movie. Adding a hydrating serum to the formula gives it a wonderfully moisturizing feel, but it’s also long-wearing so it doesn’t feel greasy or run all over the place. Once you put it on, you can be pretty sure it will stay in place.

Tent Idol Ultra Wear Care & Glow Shade

When Lancôme reworked the original version of the Tan Idol, the shade was changed, which was a blessing in disguise, much to the annoyance of longtime fans. It wasn’t all that difficult to treat old shades as equal to new ones, but I can see that it was an extra administrative task that people didn’t want, especially if they were using the same foundation. Same color for years. I’m guessing that Lancôme added so many new colors that they had to change the color numbers, but don’t shoot Messenger. I’m not even a messenger, I’m just a guesser.

The good news is that the Care & Glow shades seem to line up very nicely with the standard formula shades. My boyfriend’s 220C are both about the same.Probably the standard non-glow version is touch It’s dark, but we’re really splitting hairs here!they do shade matches Click here for Lancome official website But I really like it findings I double-checked my foundation shades online and always found them to be pretty accurate.

Care & Glow comes in 30 colors, while the standard Teint Idole comes in a whopping 45, so the newer colors are still better in that regard. I’m totally sold on the juicier look, bouncier feel, and a little extra shine. I don’t think I have worn the regular version since I got the new version.
