“I’m preparing to tour in support of my fourth album, For Your Consulting. Sonically, I think it’s one of my most enjoyable records. My past albums have been about heartbreak and relationships. It was my main inspiration, but this album is very flirty, sexy, and makes me feel good in my body. It’s the perfect single-era album. I feel hot when I listen to it. I put it on when I’m doing my makeup. It makes me want to.
Getting ready is really meditative for me. I like the calm before the chaos, especially now that I have more opportunities to go to events and red carpets as an artist. If I have the time, I have a 6-hour playlist full of music that keeps me going. There are lots of bops from Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Kate Bush, and more.
Since I don’t always have a make-up artist with me on tour, I’ve definitely gotten better at creating my own looks. I learned a lot from TikTok and Instagram. It’s a creative process. I love asking myself how I want to be that night, but the goal is always to feel more confident when I step on stage.
skin care
The biggest thing I learned from watching makeup artists is that I love working with them. nick lennon, alexandra frenchand Mara Vasquez–So preparing your skin is very important. When I get ready for the night, I start like this: Regular hyaluronic acid 2% + B5. It feels good on my skin, but I also like it for the price. It’s less than $10.I really like it Osea Essential Hydrating Oil Because it’s really light and actually absorbs into the skin. It has a very nice scent, sweet and fruity.And that Osea Ocean Eye Serum is also great.of augustinus bader cream Very expensive, but very worth the investment. When I run out of moisturizer, I tell myself to use another moisturizer, but it ends up not working as expected. It is very moisturizing and soothing to my skin. It penetrates well, but I really hate spending $300 on this.

I feel so happy when I complete a makeup look that I repeat it over and over again. Slightly alter the contours of your cheeks, forehead, and nose, or get that chocolatey look in your eyes.I started using it urban decay eyeshadow primer This is because the colors stand out more on stage. Needless to say, you’re constantly moving and sweating.I love Urban Decay’s Naked3 Palette, too. I like the 60’s messy mascara look sometimes, and since the wand picks up so much product, you can really get that look with it.

All of Rare Beauty’s products are gross, but I keep buying them. Melting cream blush in almost berry. It’s super pigmented and a fun size so you can carry it in your handbag and just dab it on your cheeks with your finger when you need to reapply. Ilia Daylight Highlight Powder in decades Very effective on the edges of the nose and cheekbones. It has a slight sparkle, so it’s not too flashy. And red lips really make you feel good.I love combining NARS lip liner in african queen and NARS Pure Matte Lipstick in 414 BLKR.I set everything up laura mercier translucent setting powder. It blurs everything out in a really beautiful and natural way.
hair
When I perform in a lot of shows, I often wear extensions in my hair. They really add to the drama. It’s great to let your hair flow. Antoine Martinez He does my hair sometimes, and I’m not as good as him, but now I put in extensions myself. I’m just trying to emulate what he does.Then I go in with mine Hot Tools ¾ Inch 24K Gold Curling Iron.i like to use EcoStyler Olive Oil Styling Gel I don’t like big, curly hair, so this is to trim the top of my head. It was about $4, so I was really surprised when I saw a stylist using it, but hey, if it works, it works.
