Hello and happy Saturday!
How was your week? I thought of you the other day when I applied my lipstick right before work. It was MAC Sweet Deal, a medium pink that looks neutral on my skin. Anyway, do you keep applying lip color all week? i hope so! I wasn’t very adventurous with color, but I’m glad I wore Sweet Deal all week.
I picked it up on Monday just before taking Connor to school. She gave a short presentation on Philippine History Month to all grades in her elementary school. You can see it in this photo that her teacher took of us. 🙂
I think the presentation went well and Connor was excited to share different things about Philippine history and culture.
Finally, we taught the children some Tagalog words and phrases. My American accent may make it sound a little strange, but I thought it was better than nothing (lol)!
Anyway, this week was busy with university work, but we also had a fun little team building exercise where we dressed up as ghosts in crumpled old sheets and jumped around in a field full of flowers.
I also climbed the dive tower at the aquatic center to take some ghost photos, and I was surprised when I stood on the 7-meter platform.
I never realized that I was afraid of heights until I walked to the edge. In my mind, I was logically thinking, “If I fall, at least I’ll fall into the water,” but that wasn’t the case. As I stood on the edge looking down, I saw something really, really scary.
Are you dressing up for Halloween? Sadly, wrinkled sheets are the least I’ve done to prepare for my favorite holiday. I really have to think about the final costume!
