Givenchy Beauty Loves – The Beauty Look Book

I’ve been really into Givenchy Beauty lately, so I thought I’d do a round-up review of some of the products I’ve tried and liked from the Prism Libre line to even out my skin tone.

base product

Givenchy Prism Libre Glow Foundation N280 and Concealer C305

of prism libre glow foundation and Hydrating Radiant Creamy Concealer Both have been on heavy rotation lately. It took me a few tries before I found what worked best for me, but I love the glow foundation in N280 and the concealer in C305.

of prism libre glow foundation It has a light texture, medium coverage and is easy to blend. Similar in concept to NARS Light Reflecting Foundation, Givenchy’s texture is less thick, making it easier to blend with a more comfortable feel and finish. It oxidizes very slightly as it cures, but it retains almost the same color as when it was first applied.

of Prism Libre Hydrating Radiant Creamy Concealer It’s pure love. I saw some swatches in the store and could have used a few different shades, but C305 does a great job on the under eye area, brightening and evening out the skin. It has a creamy feel and is very easy to blend. I like that it doesn’t create fine lines. It won’t harden or wrinkle. The applicator is cushioned and picks up enough product so you don’t have to keep pumping the tube.

setting powder

To set the prism libre loose setting powder One of the best loose powders I’ve tried. Finely ground and set to blurred perfection. We tried 3 colors based on your request. I first picked up Shade 4 Mousseline Acidulee, which is said to be perfect for medium skin tones. Color-correcting shades of green and lilac may be a little scary, but they work well. Personally, I don’t need any color correction, but this is the only shade I have at the moment for my medium skin tone.

I also tried shade 3, Boiled Rose, and shade 5, Poperine Mimosa. You can make it work depending on the base you are using. I think you can use voile rose during the winter without being too light. Most of the time, Poperine Mimosa is a little too dark/tan, but I tan easily.

We saved the best for last!I think so prism libre loose powder blush It is very fun. It takes a little more effort to apply than compact powder blushes, but I don’t mind it at all. These come with a small puff that you can dab on your cheeks. I prefer using a brush as the colors blend better when applied in a swirling motion. The puff is easy to use, but the application is uneven at times as the loose pigment is dispersed on the eyelids, making some patches of color look a bit patchy.

I posted a video demo on Reels that shows the colors in action. I think the pigment depends on how dry/oily your skin is and if you have cream blush underneath.

For a fully powdered matte face, the powder will be a little lighter. When I get even the slightest bit of oil or cream on my skin, it darkens the color a bit and reveals more pigment. I think you can see the slight oxidation/darkening in shade 2 a little more clearly on my reel.

I wear a different lip to match each blush, but here’s the breakdown of the rest of the look.

I don’t have much to report about Givenchy lipstick. I have used several lipstick shades in the past, but I believe many formulas have been reformulated or discontinued. I tried some, but rose perfect tinted liquid balm However, I was a little underwhelmed. Nice but not special (in my opinion).they just launched le rouge interdie cream velvet lipstick I’ve ordered it so I’ll write a review.
