The ATL was on fire this weekend, but it wasn’t just the sunlight. The Grind Pretty Fest 2025 was lifted up with power, purpose and pure magic, which marks its fifth anniversary, and this year was the most iconic thing ever.

The three-day celebration, held at the vibrant Westside Cultural Arts Centre from April 11-13, was a masterclass when unstoppable women gathered to build, brand and destroy boundaries. And of course, the hype hair was in the scene, catching every soundbite and sister connection.

Five years of greatness

What began as a dream by beauty boss Mimi J. and previous DJ Traci Steele has come to life in full swing. Grind Pretty is more than just a festival. It’s power. Over the years, more than $35,000 has been invested in women-led brands, the community has been shattering cleanly and purposefully grinding.

Walking around, you knew this wasn’t your average female empowerment event. You felt the atmosphere. electricity. crowd? All Queens. mission? It empowers black women to shine in acquiescence.

Power Panel + Game-Changing Gem

From technology to trademarks, the weekend was packed with deepened workshops and panels, thinking about business credit hacks, AI strategies, and how to really build legacy. Whether you launch your first product or scale it to seven numbers, these sessions have dropped the kind of gem that has changed you forever.

And don’t forget to go to the $5,000 elevator pitch competition. This is a live face of a bold vision and brave boss woman on the mission to secure that business funding bag! Watching these intense founders see the pitch with power and calmness inspired everyone and motivated them, and it certainly inspired me.

DJS + Dance Break = Therapy

Of course, without the most Dopest Soundtrack in the city, Grind Pretty Fest is not complete. The entire female DJ lineup was straightforward: DJ Traci Steele, Princess Cut, Spades of Spades, C. Devone, DJ Boogie – each brought her own flavour to the mix, not moving the crowd like on Monday. It wasn’t just music, it was soul food for Queens’ spirit of putting “boots on the ground.”

The building had an icon

When Diamond Princess herself Trina appears on stage? The building shook. She didn’t just play, she was celebrated. In honor of her cultural influence, Trina joined a lineup of pioneering women including Toya Johnson Rushing, Tamica Mallory and Jewel Berks Solomon. Do all women in honor see themselves as blueprints and recognized in front of a room filled with sisters? valuable.

Beauty, business and black glow everywhere

The Grind Pretty Fest has transformed into an outstanding celebration in every detail. The women-owned brand lit up the venue with pop-ups featuring gorgeous beauty, fashion and lifestyle products. Do you mate with other female bosses, room-wide selfies, exclusive stolen bags? If you know, let’s say you shine.

From the Founder’s Center
