My stylist Rebecca greeted me at the entrance. I immediately fell in love with the combination of open space and the calm atmosphere of the salon. I’m already thinking that my next appointment might be for extensions and color.
My hair was first brushed and shampooed as if to cleanse my face before applying the treatment. The Olaplex treatment is a salon-only hair mask that is a 15-20 minute treatment that massages small sections of hair from root to tip. I really liked this part as it was very relaxing!
After 20 minutes, I washed out the Olaplex treatment with shampoo and added conditioner. All came with a great head massage. Because there is no need for other people to come to her salon for hair. This is the kind of event we all look forward to! Now I understand why there are head spas just for washing your hair.
Before blow-drying, Rebecca applied a few drops of Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil, which can be used on wet hair (I started using it again after this treatment!), and then applied it again after her hair was dry. It made my hair look really beautiful. The natural shine of my hair. I love using hair oil because heat styling can make my ends dry and dry, but this oil is so light that I can use it over and over again without it looking heavy on my 2-3 day old hair. Please note that my hair is on the drier side.
We went with beachy waves and I can tell you how crazy the absolute lightness of my hair was and how weightless it felt! Yes, there’s always salon magic, but when I let a co-worker touch it, she said, “Oooh!”
The results of this treatment lasted about 4 washes before the softness was completely gone, but if I’m going to get my hair cut or colored, I’m one of those people who go to the salon once a year, so I quickly applied this treatment.
