I don’t know how it happened, but you blinked and suddenly you were 17 years old.
My first baby is no longer fully my baby.
Do you remember when you were very young and we didn’t know each other very well? Oh, that’s a funny picture we took in that old apartment many years ago.
You are now officially a young adult and I am so proud of you. I feel like I got to witness you blossom. And now I release you into the world to take on challenges with your own beautiful, shining wings.
I will always cherish the adventures we have had and all the memories we have made together. You have deeply shaped my life in so many ways. Being with you has made me the person I am today.
