white lotus is a great show about scary rich people… what’s not to love?There is a pristine Sicilian background (yes yes folks really did We went to Italy last summer), Mystery (two people die at the end!), and Jennifer Coolidge (laughter breaks out). After all, the hotel show is Phantom Thief, so every little detail feels like a sneaky clue. For example, why is Portia dressed like a pirate who has amassed Beacon’s Closet bounty? Why is Daphne so positively happy? And what about Ethan and Harper (played by)? of Aubrey Plaza) Do you have very fair skin?
Well, the latter isn’t exactly shrouded in mystery, thanks to several bathroom scenes that reveal objectively high-maintenance beauty routines. I know this because, like those who caught his two-second glimpse into the millionaire’s bathroom, I paused and zoomed in too. Peeking into their skincare personalities through this little window, it became clear that they were brand loyalists using his $700 routine. They aren’t the most skin-savvy (I can’t find an SPF bottle), but Harper seems to appreciate a healthy selection of toners and treatment serums. Ethan, like Harper, has sensitive skin and uses Nivea Sensitive Shaving Gel and Harper’s Gentle Cleanser. But overall, how great is their beauty routine? Let’s take a closer look.

All hotel bathrooms are stocked with some complimentary toiletries, and The White Lotus is no exception. The brand they chose seems to be Ortigia (spotted in Grandpa’s room in another episode). Ortigia room essence spray, hand soapand shower gel List what you found in Ethan and Harper’s room. These are all incredible things in my book.
ethan’s product
I doubt this is Ethan’s full routine. Even my husband (who was washing his face with her hand soap when we met) has a more extensive routine. Nonetheless, all that was on Ethan’s side of the bathroom counter were her three products, aside from toothpaste. kiehl’s cleanser, Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Moisturizerand Nivea Men’s Sensitive Shave Gel. These are all relatively moderate. Really cleansed of character. It’s like he googled “men + skincare” and bought the first thing that came up on google. On the Bougie scale, these fall right in the middle. Somewhat pricey, but very bland.
harpers products
Her relationship status may be ambiguous, but one thing is clear: Harper is Clarence’s gal. She’s washing her two cleansers instead of one. Clarins Gentle Renewing Cleansing Mousse and Clarins Hydrating Gentle Foaming Cleanser. She also seems to be a fan of the company’s hero products, double serum (Personal favorite because it’s so moisturizing and always leaves my skin looking radiant) or Clarins Hydra Essentials. silky cream, cooling gel or heavy cream (All three jars look the same).
When it comes to toner, Harper rotates three: Enzo Laszlo VTM Micro Essence, Peach and Lily The Good Acid Tonerand MAC Prep + Prime (She may just be using it as a setting spray, but who says?) And speaking of MAC, Harper also owns two MAC makeup compacts.
Rounding out Harper’s beauty range are three Kiehl’s products.their Avocado Nourishing Hydration Maskand their classic avocado eye creamand Midnight Recovery Concentrate. On the drugstore and Dyson boozy scales, I’d say Ms. Harper’s routine is two clicks below the boogieiest. Does she have expensive hobbies? yes. Does she spend money wisely? Oh, she could do better. One would expect Daphne to tell her how great The Cream and Vintner’s Daughter are. That is, unless Harper wasn’t one of the two guests who kicked the bucket.
