When I was first asked to write a blog post about sculpting with PureBronze Matte Bronzer, I was a little apprehensive. I’ve spent years shaping my round, pale face with bronzers that are always too orange for my skin tone, but I’ve never fully mastered the art of contouring. was.
Luckily, I knew someone to turn to for professional guidance. Sean is the Director of Art Education and he kindly offered to provide a tutorial on how to create a natural sculptural look.

When sculpting the face, Sean recommends highlighting first and then contouring. Because that way I can easily determine where I need to add contours. For highlighting, choose a shade a few shades lighter than your skin tone, or use a lightening product to create a similar lifting effect.
After applying the highlighter, use the contour brush to outline the areas you want to outline. Common areas to place bronzer include along the hairline, along the hollows of the cheeks, along the nose, and along the jawline. Pro-tip: When sculpting your jawline, always start behind your ears to avoid a clear starting point for your contour.
Then, once you’ve reached the desired level of sculpting, the key to making everything look natural is to blend it all together. Thoroughly. Leave the areas near the hairline dark and gradually blend the color with the contour brush towards the center of the face.

Prep your makeup with Smooth Affair® Brightening Face Primer. Then dot the Glow Time Pro™ BB Cream. GT1 Apply to cheeks, forehead, chin and nose and blend quickly with a blending/contouring brush. (This product spreads well with a small amount, but dries quickly, so it’s important to start blending as soon as possible.)
As for highlighters, I prefer bright and matte, so I add Active Light® Under Eye Concealer. 1 Apply with a blending/contouring brush to the high points of the face. For extra shine, add a Glow Time® Highlighter Stick to finish. summer solstice.
Sweep in PureBronze Matte Bronzer light(Shawn’s recommendation, as it’s not an overly warm bronzer), blend under the cheekbones around the forehead and under the jawline with a blending/contouring brush.
I have a round face, so I use Glowtime® Blush Stick instead of blush. Breezy From the temple to the middle of the cheek along the top of the cheekbone.
Add PureBrow® Precision Pencil Dark brown Apply to brows for definition, apply a shimmering rose-gold shade of the Ravishing PurePressed® Eyeshadow Trio all over lids, and lengthen lashes with Longest Lash® Thickening & Lengthening Mascara. black ice.
Finish with a new ColorLuxe Hydrating Cream Lipstick. sherbet It has a faint coral scent.
