My review

As someone who appreciates both simplicity and quality in my beauty routine, I am particularly excited to try out the Ilia Eye Stylus Shadow Stick. I think Ilia really nails the balance between high-performance products and skin-friendly ingredients, so I had high expectations for these shadows.
Packaging
The design is minimal and modern, and the twist-up mechanism is extremely easy to use. They are wonderful and refined so they fit my make-up bag and they have a sturdy cap that is safe and secure just to zip into your bag.
Textures and Applications
One of the outstanding features of the Ilia Eye Stylus is its extremely smooth texture. The formula is creamy and not greasy, allowing the shadows to slip easily on the eyelids. It won’t dry or slip too much, and will give you plenty of time to blend before setting it in place. The application is seamless and the texture feels weightless on the skin, making it really comfortable to wear all day long.
Blendability and finish
The Ilia Eye Stylus Shadow Stick is really easy to blend. I’m applying my very fine layer first Reeson Lid Elixir I use it every day to smooth the lid and let it set and then go with Ilia. For more information, read Reeson Beauty Lid Lid Elixir Eye Serum-Tint Review & Swatches.
Whether you apply light cleaning of colours or build for a stronger look, the formula blends beautifully with a soft brush. I use myself Reeson No. 2 Brush And they work really well together.
The shadows have a smooth, velvety texture that helps the product slip easily. The mat has a beautiful velvety glow, and the shimmer has a very beautiful sheen without any very sparkle or shine.
Color and pigmentation
I use flax, a lovely taupe, throughout the lid. And I use jubilee (soft gold) like the spotlight in the center of my lid. It looks very nice. It doesn’t seem to be doing too much, but it’s perfect for everyday use.
The pigmentation is impressive. One is rich in swipes, providing uniform colours and is easy to build strength to suit your taste.
longevity
The Ilia Eye Stylus Shadow Stick works very well when it comes to longevity. I’ve worn it for a long weekend or even workout, and it stays in place without fading or wrinkled. I have a bit of oily eyelid, which is always a concern for me, but I’m happy to report that the formula is being maintained very well. Once set, it remains in place.
Where to buy it
