During New York Fashion Week in February, julia fox Her new red hair and matching eyebrows debuted. Since then, she’s grown out her brunette roots and opted for a more muted auburn shade. Her latest hairstyle not only highlights her dual-toned hair, but it’s also something we’ve never seen her wear before: voluminous barrel curls.
On October 17th, Fox was spotted on the streets of London literally wearing a dry cleaning pickup as a dress and covering it with a plastic bag. His garment hung around his neck, but for Fox, who favors quirky, avant-garde looks, this was just another Tuesday outfit.
Fox’s hair was styled in big barrel curls that fell down to her chest. If you look up “bomb curls” in the dictionary, you will see a photo of this very hairstyle. I love how these curls look intentionally messy, as if she flipped her hair and ran her fingers through it a few times before stepping out.
The dark brown hair roots are clearly visible. The brown transitions seamlessly into red, so it’s almost difficult to find where one color ends and the other begins.
