I’ll be honest, I’m a little tired of the celebrity beauty looks at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Don’t get me wrong, there was no shortage of gorgeousness on the red carpet; it’s just that there weren’t as many jaw-dropping hair and makeup surprises as in years past. But maybe Joey King read my mind from 4,000 miles away: halfway through the festival, she revamped her look.

The most valuable commodity On Friday, the A-list actress sported long, loose waves and deep parted hair that flowed over the straps of her pastel blue Con Tri dress, but between that appearance and her next red carpet appearance, the “We Were the Lucky Ones” star decided to chop off nearly a foot of her hair.
King attended the Cannes Closing Ceremony on May 25 with a dramatically different haircut. This time, her hair wasn’t hanging down anywhere under her dress, which was a stunning pale yellow scoop-neck Miu Miu dress with a playful cut-out in the back, paired with the most sparkly opera gloves we’ve ever seen.
