If you’ve been here for a while, you’ll definitely be love A good mascara launch, and Lancome’s latest one caught my eye. It always has a special place in my heart.

I’ve been testing this new release last week or so and I really like it.
Wands and Formula
Let’s talk about brushes first. It is very slim and accurate, very different from the original eyelash dole wand. I’m pretty clumsy with mascara (especially because I have the lid) and makes the application very easy, so I really like it.
It’s packed with tiny short hairs that grab every eyelash, even those nasty things in the corners. Great for definition and separation.
The formula is super black and it really feels light on the eyelashes I’ve always appreciated. You can also seek out a nice, light coat or actually layer it without any crunch or weight.
First impression
I think this is a great mascara. It looks very natural, gives a fluttering effect, and can be easily applied, worn and removed. I don’t use eyelash curlers, but this formula gives my straight lash a good lift.
How does the Lancome Lash Lash Idôle Flutter Extension Mascara compare to the original? Rush Idre?
If you already love OG Rush Eyedre, you will enjoy this. It’s like a lighter, more looser sister. The original offers a little more volume, but the flutter extensions are all length and lifting. It’s more subtle, but very elegant and perfect for a modest look. If you want more drama, stick to the original.
Final thoughts
This mascara is a really good addition to the Lancome lineup. I love how easy it is, and it gives a naturally lifted, instigated look without feeling like it’s perfect for everyday wear and no feeling of heavy or excessively dramatic.
