Lauren grew up in Detroit, considered by some to be the hair capital. She found herself inspired by the hair culture there, and even by Hype Hair magazine. When asked about her childhood hair horror stories, she fondly recalled the results of her curly style gone awry after using a foam roller. (Everyone can relate) These days, you can find Lauren rocking bohemian locks. However, she believes that a fine silk bonnet is an essential hair accessory.
Since they often invite family and friends over on holidays, they prefer a cute and comfortable atmosphere in their homes. Surprisingly, her husband Cameron is quite the chef and takes on the heavy lifting in the kitchen on his days off.
