[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Oh my, my new MAC foundation just slipped out of nowhere! I kept the box on the table for days, if not weeks, thinking it was an advent calendar, but it didn’t demand my immediate attention. However, we had a big opening session on Sunday and I was so surprised to find the foundation!

I’m all for a little sparkle. Those who sit on the fence will be happy to know that it does not shine too much or get wet with dew. It has light to medium coverage and is very easy to apply and blend.

I’m NW15, and it’s neutral, warm, and very easy to wear. The texture of MAC Studio Radiance Serum Powered Foundation is lightweight and almost weightless. I think you can feel the elements of skin care. It’s not clear if the serum in question is the new Ceramizer, but I recommend starting with it and then applying the Studio Radiance Foundation. Personally, I don’t think you need to do it because if your foundation has a serum in it, you probably won’t need to apply a second coat. MAC claims that this formula he says is 80% skin care and 20% foundation, and I think that matches the feel. It contains 10% hyaluronic acid, olive oil, jojoba, and vitamin E oil, plus his 29 skin-focused ingredients.

If you look at the photo, you will notice that there is some light reflection. I find that if it wasn’t such a dark day, there would probably be more light reflecting and the coverage would work well to even out my tone. Looking at this photo up close, I think I didn’t blend it as well as I could. If you know your MAC shades, this is a no-brainer. I’m skeptical of this, especially given the skincare claims (like “209% instant hydration for a plumper, smoother look, and more radiant glow after one week”). This kind of statistics) gives us an edge over other foundations. If you like the look, it’s available in 56 colors and costs £39 here.
