So…what is Monday’s vote?
Great question! Despite the name, it’s not an actual vote, like a little clicky button.This is just a list of more or less random questions that I have posted on this blog every Monday morning for the past thousand years (since 2007).
1. What are you looking forward to in October?
Visit a pumpkin patch with Connor and El Hab. I go to the same place every year and it’s always so much fun!
And to be honest, I’m also looking forward to moving forward with my life. I’ve been feeling stuck and sad lately and I’m so tired of being in that space. Ready to change the atmosphere. We know it won’t happen overnight. This month, I am simply going to continue to treat myself with an abundance of love and allow the care and kindness sent to me by the universe to come in from all directions.
That’s my plan and I’m sticking to it. 🙂
2. Choose your nail polish color – bright cherry red or dark blood red?
I would like it to be a deep blood red. The darker the better. I also want a durable and glossy top coat.
3. What is your favorite snack these days?
Oh, and a handful of dried apricots and pistachios (must be shelled pistachios)! I’ve been trying to balance most of my meals and snacks with a combination of carbohydrates, fiber, and protein, and this combination is just right.
4. What was your favorite thing to display in your bedroom as a child?
When I was a teenager, I often had a poster that my grandmother gave me. It was a woman inspired by Nagel, a tear rolling down her cheek and the word “Memory” written at the bottom of her poster. I loved it and thought it was very cool.
5. Updo or explosion?
Since it’s a blowout, you don’t have to deal with the headaches that always come with updos.
Happy New Year, my friend. Now I’m enjoying my second cup of coffee and enjoying the simple pleasure of how delicious it is. For example, do you ever stop and smell the coffee? Wow, amazing, right? Anyway, today I’m just trying to live fully in the moment, and apparently that means passing out with the smell of milky, delicious coffee, haha.
What’s happening this week? I hope that no matter what you are going to do, love will surround you from all sides.
