So…what is Monday’s vote?
Great question! Despite the name, it’s not an actual vote, like a little clicky button.This is just a list of more or less random questions that I have posted on this blog every Monday morning for the past thousand years (since 2007).
1. How good are you at crafts?
Very detailed instructions would be fine. As long as you can follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs), everything will be fine.
2. Do you speak any languages other than English?
I can understand Tagalog, a commonly spoken Filipino language, but my ability is limited. I can follow conversations in Tagalog, but when it comes to academic topics and news, my vocabulary can’t keep up.
I can also speak simple sentences in French. Nothing really helpful, just things like “I’d like a croissant, please” or “I’m going to miss the bus, please hurry.”
3. Have you started thinking about Thanksgiving yet?
Slightly. This year, Connor, El Hab and I are planning a small celebration, so we don’t have to plan a big meal. Instead of turkey, I’m going to make a crab feast with some sides and a pie or two. Maybe we’ll go to the movies afterwards.
4. What if you send your partner a list to Ulta?
I think he’ll be OK with it if you list the exact name of the product and include a screenshot and link. lol! You must also specify the exact size of your product. Otherwise, all sample sizes will be huge.
5. Charlotte Tilbury or Dior?
Dior.
6. Are you in your 20s or 30s?
30s! I traveled a lot and worked hard for MBB. It’s a good time.
7. Lip gloss or lipstick?
Shiny.
8. Baby age or toddler age?
It’s hard to choose because I really liked both. I miss my cute baby days so much.
9. Is it summer or autumn?
autumn.
10. Should I say goodbye to them or walk away?
Sigh. Please let them know as there is nothing I can do about it. Then, hopefully walk away.
11. What are you grateful for today?
Light rain over the weekend. Trader Joe’s ginger slices (very sweet and spicy). The second season of “The Gilded Age” (I love getting lost in stories that aren’t too scary). My chosen tribe. early morning sunshine. Honey-crisp apples, especially when sliced, cool and crunchy.
