Great question! Despite the name, it’s not an actual vote, like a little clicky button.This is just a list of more or less random questions that I have posted on this blog every Monday morning for the past thousand years (since 2007).
1. Is it a pen or a pencil?
pencil! I love mechanical pencils with erasers. Ideally 0.7mm 2HB lead. If you know, you know.

A combination of – 😭🤣😂!
3. Do you wear glasses?
girl. She has so many glasses. During the pandemic, I pretty much stopped wearing contacts, so now I have distance glasses, reading glasses, and sunglasses (prescription and non-prescription)…SO. many. glasses.
4. How easily do you fall asleep?
It depends on what you’re thinking about or where you are in your menstrual cycle. However, in general, if you’ve had enough exercise that day, you can fall asleep quickly.
5. Put ice in your drink – yes or no?
How about pairing it with iced tea or fruity juice?
6. MAC or Bobbi Brown?
ah. Mac, always.
7. What is one of your greatest hopes?
I hope to reach a ripe old age so that I can provide enough support for Connor to get through the difficult years in his 20s and 30s. I gave birth to her late in life (when I was 40), which has its pros and cons, but that’s a story for another day.

Lately, I’ve been feeling a little more anxious than usual, so I’ve been thinking a lot about how I can stay grounded in my body and stay present. So, repeat “5, 4, 3, 2, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1”.
I learned it years ago and it helps me when I feel like I’m overthinking things in my head. This is an easy way to bring yourself back to the present moment and find your focus. Give it a try this week.
