So…what is Monday’s vote?
Great question! Despite the name, it’s not an actual vote, like a little clicky button.This is just a list of more or less random questions that I have posted on this blog every Monday morning for the past thousand years (since 2007).
1. Converse or cowboy boots?
Converse, but the platform has to be Converse!
2. A sweet snack that reminds you of your elementary school days?
I don’t know why, but when I was in elementary school, pudding was everywhere. I remember always eating lots of puddings made from boxes, ready-made puddings in plastic cups (tapioca was my favorite), and Jell-O pudding pops. There was a lot of pudding (lol)! I don’t eat it much anymore as an adult, but I remember how delicious it was when I was a child.
3. Valletta – yes or no?
I like those ideas in theory, so yes. However, in reality, it is rarely worn. Maybe I need more hair ties in my life!
4. Have you ever been surprised by getting older?
Occasional pain in the hands and forearms after physical labor. It was kind of shocking! I’ve always had strong hands (I think playing the piano seriously from the age of 4 to 17 helped me develop a lot of dexterity and strength in my fingers), but now I’m recovering. You have to do something intentional, like stretch. It hurts.
5. What makes you happy?
lilac. Violet notes of perfume. Pie baked in the oven. The air in your lungs on a sunny day after a long rain. Sunscreen on the beach. the top of the baby’s head.
