So…what is Monday’s vote?
Great question! Despite the name, it’s not an actual vote, like a little clicky button. This is just a list of more or less random questions that I have posted on this blog every Monday morning for the past thousand years (since 2007).
1. Has someone done something nice for you recently?
A friend took me out for tea yesterday. I don’t know what those tiny little sandwiches and pots of Earl Gray are all about, but they do so much good for my soul.
2. What is your favorite holiday?
Halloween is fun, you can dress up, and you don’t have to get presents or arrange fancy meals.
3. Do you ever get nervous?
You’re driving on the highway next to a large semi-truck that’s going very fast.
4. What is your favorite thing for weekday lunch?
Roasted red pepper pasta with chickpeas and basil topped with plenty of parmesan cheese. Hmm!
5. Did you accomplish anything over the weekend?
I took a little break and didn’t do any housework related stuff. Sure, there are clumps of pet hair floating in the hallway and I have to go shopping after work, but I actually feel like I’m rested.
