So…what is Monday’s vote?
Great question! Despite the name, it’s not an actual vote, like a little clicky button. This is just a list of more or less random questions that I have posted on this blog every Monday morning for the past thousand years (since 2007).
1. What was the last show you binge-watched?
Season 2 of “The Diplomat” starring Keri Russell on Netflix. It’s a bit silly, but I like how it incorporates real life events happening in the world.
2. Have you started planning for Thanksgiving yet?
Girl, no. lol! I barely made it through the Halloween season, but honestly it felt like it took about three years. In a few years, when Connor gets older, I know I’ll miss all the activities. Anyway, you’ll be invited to a dinner hosted by a friend for Thanksgiving, so you’ll probably attend that. Or stay home in your jammies, watch a movie, and have another crab fest. It’s so much fun!
3. Choose your fall nail color – red, burgundy, or dark blue?
Oh, burgundy please! I love the slight micro shimmer and glossy finish.
4. Mix peas into mashed potatoes – yes or no?
Hard No. I like traditional mashed potatoes. Lots of butter and gravy option available.
5. Is there anything you want to accomplish this week?
I would like to make time to write. Work is finally starting to calm down a bit, and all the activities I had packed into my schedule for the last month have finished. I hope that if you have some breathing room, you’ll be happy to sit down at your computer and feel relaxed enough to let your mind wander. I’ve been having trouble concentrating lately. I felt like I was being pulled in every direction.
