A new lipstick has been released from Makeup by Mario called super satin lipstick ($28 each).they just sephora Available in 18 colors and the formula is beautiful. I was lucky enough to receive them in PR, so I’ve seen them all.
The formula is very creamy and opaque with full coverage. The texture is very smooth and has been described as ‘satin’, but the finish is slightly creamier and on the shiny side. It feels a little thick when you swipe it, but it’s not heavy. As long as your lips are not touching anything, the color adheres very well and has great staying power. It’s a traditional lipstick so it doesn’t transfer, but I was really impressed with its staying power. It has a glossy, creamy finish that blends into your lips and leaves them slightly moisturized. There is a faint vanilla scent, but for me it’s very subtle.
On the nail: Shade 175 Skiuse
The color range is pretty good with a combination of neutrals, reds, and bolds. I think it’s a little hard to know how neutrals will affect your skin unless you try them. His Ultra His Suede I really liked how a lot of his lipsticks looked in the tube or applied on my arm, but most of them felt pretty light when applied on my lips . For me, most of the new super satin tones are easy to achieve, but there are definitely some that don’t suit my skin tone.
Note that some of the tones looked warmer in the tube but are much cooler and more neutral on my lips. As most of you already know, I have a dark natural lip color that sometimes looks purple. If you have a pinker or lighter lip color, I think most lighter tones will look much better on you than on me.

- downtown girl It’s a deeper brown

Overall I really like it. The formula definitely gets an A+, but not all the colors work as expected. I think it’s rare for people to like all the shades of lipstick that are released. I think they have a great range. I would love to see a full-coverage, long-lasting moisture glow lip serum or plumping lip color like this one.
My favorite is Soho. (917) I also really like it and think it can make South Shore work, even if it’s pale in some cases. You may need to add a liner. According to many, Rockefeller is a shade of victory. I didn’t swatch it for the blog, but check it out on my reel. I agree that it is a really beautiful classic kind of bold lip with the perfect undertone.
