[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I love colored mascara, but some are much easier to wear than others. Maybelline’s coloured mascara (10 shades so far) is a good option to experiment with, especially when heading towards shades that are enhancers rather than statements, away from bright blue. Their latest launch is green altitude. It’s not a forest, but a subtle, deep green that’s somewhere in between, even though it’s clever.
If you want to amplify the green, you can use the Hunter Green (Super Drug) tattoo liner above. Green altitude is designed to amplify green or brown eyes. I know I need the black behind them every day to stop them from showing my everyday eyes to “Stark.” In the past, I’ve worn a thin black coat to get the definition I need to make my eyes look bare.
As you can see, the green altitude is deep. We’re talking about the subtle differences here – I don’t think anyone notices my lashes look green, but the appearance of my eyes definitely doesn’t happen with black mascara. I really like it, but I have to feel very special to pay attention to this level of detail.
It’s £10.99 here And I think it’s not too bold, even enjoying trying something new! After all, it’s full of spring – the perfect time for newness.
