Kaija Wilson is a seasoned business owner who transitioned from running a multi-million dollar retail operation to success in the entrepreneurial world. At the young age of 27, she used her wealth of knowledge to start her first daycare center, marking the beginning of an incredible business journey. Over the past six years, Kaija has successfully launched a total of eight daycare centers, each contributing greatly to their community by providing employment opportunities, childcare services, and valuable support to families in need. Kaija has made a lasting impact on Tiny Tots families by focusing on fostering family bonds within her centers and extending support beyond childcare to address individual needs.

Kaija’s strong business acumen and unwavering dedication to success has earned her prestigious titles such as store manager and owner of her own businesses. Her daycare centers, including Tiny Tots Academy 1, 2, 3, 4, Tiny Tots Academy West, Tiny Tots Before and After, Sauk Village Academy, and Sauk Village Before and After, are nurturing spaces for both children and teachers. In addition to her thriving daycare centers, Kaija also owns a beauty business in Chicago called Beauty Vault. What sets Beauty Vault apart is its unwavering commitment to bringing a luxurious feel to the community.

In addition to offering a diverse range of products in her stores, Wilson makes sure to hire local women who are knowledgeable about and use the products themselves. This unique approach gives customers informed advice and an unparalleled personalized shopping experience rarely found in traditional beauty supply stores.

In her words: "I want to give them some direction on what to do.We are 100% consumers but own less than 10% of the market."

Kaija’s entrepreneurial journey has now expanded to Houston, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia, where she is preparing to open two more luxury beauty supply stores with the aim of making a positive impact in the community. The stores will be the largest Black-owned beauty stores in Houston. Aside from her business ventures, she is also set to release her first e-book this year in 2024. Kaija’s e-book will share her experience opening a beauty supply store and aims to be a guide for aspiring Black entrepreneurs to succeed in the market.
